Lisans düzeyinde turizm eğitimi alan öğrencilerin bilgisayar ve temel bilgi teknolojileri dersine bakış açılarının değerlendirilmesi: Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli üniversitesi turizm fakültesi örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, lisans düzeyinde turizm eğitimi alan öğrencilerin bilgisayar ve temel bilgi teknolojileri dersine bakış açılarını belirlemek, demografik özelliklerine göre bu bakış açılarındaki farklılıkları tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla Nevşehir Üniversitesi Turizm Fakültesin ’de örgün eğitim alan birinci ve ikinci öğretimdeki öğrencilerden 253 katılımcıya anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen başlıca bulgulara göre öğrencilerin; Bilgisayar eğitimine bakış açılarında cinsiyet, bölüm, öğrenim türü, sınıf, sektör deneyimi ve deneyim sahibi olduğu işletme türü açısından farklılık olmadığı saptanmıştır. Buna rağmen öğrencilerin cinsiyet, öğrenim türü, sınıfı, sektör deneyimi ve deneyim sahibi olduğu işletme türü açısından ankette yer alan yedi ifadede farklılık gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin Temel Bilgi Teknolojileri dersine bakış açılarında bölüm, sınıf ve deneyim sahibi olduğu işletme türü açısından anlamlı farklılıklar görülmüştür

The aim of this study is to determine the perspectives of Undergraduate Students in Tourism Education who take Computer Skills and Basic Information Technology Courses and to identify differences in perspective based on the demographic characteristics. For this reason a survey has been applied to 253 participants who are in the first and second education and get formal education at the Faculty of Tourism, Nevsehir University. According to the main findings of the study, it has been observed that the students do not differ in terms of gender, department, school type, grade, business experience and the type of experience they got from the company for the perspective of the computer skills. However, it has also been observed that the students differ in terms of gender, school type, grade, business experience and the type of experience they got from the company especially in the seven statements that exist in the questionnaire. Moreover, it has been observed that there are significant differences in the perspectives of the students who take Basic Information Technology Course in terms of department, class, and the type of experience they got from the company
