Bu araştırmanın amacı, farklılaştırılmış öğretim uygulamalarının, 6. sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve girişimcilik becerileri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desenle yürütülen araştırmaya, İstanbul İlindeki bir ortaokulun 6. sınıfına kayıtlı toplam 57 öğrenci katılmıştır. Elektriğin iletimi ünitesi, 29 öğrenciden oluşan deney grubunda farklılaştırılmış öğretim uygulamaları ile yürütülmüştür. Öğrencilerin hazırbulunuşluk, ilgi ve öğrenme stillerine göre “istasyon, ajanda, merkezler, girişler noktası ve kademelendirilmiş öğretim” teknikleri çerçevesinde öğretim içerik, süreç ve ürün ögeleri bakımından farklılaştırılmıştır. Aynı ünite, 28 öğrenciden oluşan kontrol grubu ile mevcut fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programına göre işlenmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubuna 25 soruluk yaşamımızdaki elektrik başarı testi ve 28 maddelik fen laboratuvarı girişimcilik ölçeği ön-test son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verileri, bağımsız t-testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Son test verileri karşılaştırıldığında, farklılaştırılmış öğretim uygulamaları ile deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencileri arasında deney grubu öğrencileri lehine anlamlı düzeyde fark oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, girişimcilik becerisi ile alt becerilerini geliştirme ve akademik başarıyı arttırmada, farklılaştırılmış öğretim tekniklerinin, mevcut öğretim programı uygulamalarına göre daha etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of differentiated instructional practices on the entrepreneurial skills and academic achievement of 6th grade students. A total of 57 students continuing to 6th grade in secondary school in Istanbul province participated in the research, which was conducted with a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group. The electrical conduction unit was carried out with differentiated teaching practices in the experimental group consisting of 29 students. According to the students' readiness, interests and learning styles, the teaching was differentiated in terms of content, process and product elements within the framework of "stations, agenda, centres, entry points and graduated teaching" techniques. The same unit was taught according to the current science curriculum with the control group consisting of 28 students. The achievement test called electricity in our life of 25 questions and the science laboratory entrepreneurship scale of 28 items were applied to the experimental and control groups as a pretest and posttest. Research data were analyzed by independent t test. When the posttest data were compared, it was determined that there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group students. In the research, it was concluded that differentiated teaching techniques were more effective than current curriculum practices in developing entrepreneurial skills, sub-skills and increasing academic success.
