Vedâ Hutbesinde sosyal hizmetlere yönelik bazı tespitler

Abstract

Tarih boyunca farklı sebeplerden dolayı maddî-manevî yardım ve desteğe muhtaç insanlar olagelmiştir. Bu sebeple insanların yaşadığı muhtaçlık durumunu giderme adına çabalar ortaya konmuş; mevcut imkânlar ile onlara yardım edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yardıma muhtaç olanlara yönelik faaliyetler bazen birey bazen toplum bazen de devlet eliyle giderilmeye çalışılmıştır. Muhtaçlara yönelik yardımlar yapılırken belirli bir plan veya sistem ortaya konmamış, toplumun kabul ettiği değerlere göre hareket edilmiştir. 19. yüzyılda Batı dünyasında “sosyal hizmet” adı altında bir disiplin ortaya çıkmış, yardım ve desteğe ihtiyaç duyanlara yönelik planlı-programlı bir çalışma alanı oluşturulmuştur. Tarihin farklı dönemlerinde değişik şekillerde temayüz eden bu alan Hz. Peygamber döneminde de hem teorik, hem pratik olarak yer almıştır. Resûlullah (s) yaşamış olduğu zamanda bu alana temel olabilecek birçok çalışma ortaya koymuştur. Onun gerçekleştirmiş olduğu faaliyetler referans niteliğinde olup sosyal hizmet/lere kaynaklık edecek türdendir. Özellikle Vedâ haccı esnasında yapmış olduğu konuşmalar bu ilim dalı için manifesto niteliğindedir. Konuşmasının içeriği sosyal hizmet/lere birçok yönden vurgu yapmış, bu disiplinin muhtevasına yönelik mesajlar vermiştir. Çalışmamızda Resûlullah (s)’in konuşmalarında yer alan hususlar, sosyal hizmet açısından ele alınıp değerlendirmektedir. Hz. Peygamber’in Vedâ hutbesindeki konuşmaları sosyal hizmet biliminin ilgili alanları ile kıyaslanarak ele alındı. Onun ortaya koyduğu örnekler sosyal hizmet alanına referans niteliğinde olup, özellikle pratik hayata olan katkıları ile ifade edilmeye çalışıldı.

Throughout history, there have been people in need of financial and moral help and support for different reasons. For this reason, efforts have been made to eliminate the neediness of people; Efforts were made to help them with the available means. The activities aimed at those in need of help were tried to be eliminated by the individual, sometimes by the society and sometimes by the state. While giving aid to the needy, a specific plan or system was not put forward, and the values accepted by the society were acted upon. In the 19th century, a discipline under the name of "social work" emerged in the Western world, and a planned-programmed study area was created for those who needed help and support. This area, which stands out in different ways in different periods of history, is Hz. It took place both theoretically and practically in the time of the Prophet. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) put forward many studies that could be the basis of this field during his lifetime. The activities he has carried out are of a reference nature and are of the type that will serve as a source for social service/s. Especially the speeches he made during the Farewell pilgrimage are manifesto for this branch of science. The content of his speech emphasized social work/s in many ways and gave messages about the content of this discipline. In our study, the issues in the speeches of the Messenger of Allah (s) are discussed and evaluated in terms of social work. Hz. The speeches of the Prophet in the Farewell Sermon were compared with the relevant fields of social work science. The examples he put forward are a reference to the field of social work, and it has been tried to be expressed especially with his contributions to practical life.
