dc.description.abstract Recently, the number of wind farms, which is converted from wind energy to electricity, is increasing every day. Therefore, the connect wind turbines to the grid system is vital issues. A bridge type fault current limiter (BFCL) is proposed fault ride through capability improvement of the permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) based on wind turbine (WT). The proposed protect system limits the over-currents of PMSG based on WT system during grid fault. The proposed protect system has better performance compared with both the series dynamic braking resistor (SDBR) and without controller system. Simulation of the BFCL protect system is designed to the 1.5 MVA PMSG based on WT in the MATLAB/Simulink software. The results in this study verify that the BFCL protect system is very effective according to SDBR system. tr_TR
