dc.description.abstract Glass ceiling syndrome is the leading issue underestimating the women employees’ skills and successes. Women managers face with various problems in tourism enterprises as well as in many other sectors. That is why glass ceiling issue is one of the issues with which women managers working hotel and tourism enterprises encounter. Glass ceiling obstacles to be seen in hotel enterprises not only hamper the contributions of women employees, but also affect efficiency and performance of the women employees in a multidimensional way. In our study, the issues concerning glass ceiling issue with which women managers working in tourism enterprises in Antalya and Muğla encounter are dealt with. LIKERT-scaled survey was used in implementation, by analyzing the data obtained from the survey through Statistics SPSS program. In this study, the issues women employees experiencing glass ceiling syndrome faced were assessed comparatively both for male and women managers. The same survey and questions were directed to both male and women employees. tr_TR
