dc.description.abstract With the advancement of technology, concepts such as cyber and digital anthropology concepts have started to emerge besides forensic anthropology. With these concepts emerging with changing and developing today's technology, privacy and security issues have become more talkable than ever, taking their place at the top as an important agenda item for public institutions, private sector organizations and individual users. At this point, using a well-structured firewall appears as a suitable solution for this privacy and security need. Because of the need for privacy and security, institutions and organizations use global solutions such as Firewalls against cyberattacks. Firewall log entries contain a rich source of network forensic data such as the date and time of the attack, type of threat, type of protocol used, source IP address and country, source port number. If firewall logs with such a rich source of information can be analyzed correctly, threats can be reduced and more effective measures can be taken against cyber-attacks. A general comment cannot be made by looking at a single firewall log entry. In order to make more detailed comments, the general behavior of all relevant firewall log entries needs to be interpreted and analyzed. This study focused on demographic analysis of firewall logs and whether the results to be achieved are interesting for digital and cyber anthropology. For this purpose, data visualization of the data obtained from the Palo Alto Networks firewall device at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVU) IT Department was tried to assist the cyber threat analyst in the interpretation of the current threats. It is seen that the analysis of the data obtained is in the area of interest of cyber anthropology, which is a relatively new field. With this study, the necessity of the multidisciplinary studies of the fields of engineering and anthropology has come forward. tr_TR
