Bu makalede, Kur'ani kavramlardan olan resul ve nebi terimleri Kur'an bağlamında eleştirel bir yaklaşımla analiz edilmektedir. Böyle bir çalışmanın temel nedeni, bu iki kavrarnın bazı eserlerde Kur'an'dan ve hadislerdeki manalarından farklı şekilde anlamlandırılmış ve öylece yerleş(tiril)miş olmasıdır. Bazı kelam ve tefsir kaynaklarında resul ve nebi ayn ayn kişil~nniş gibi ele alınmıştır. Bu ayırım "her resul nebidir, fakat her nebi r~sul değildir." şeklinde formüle edilerek tekrarlanagelmiştir. Resul olmanın şartı yeni bir kitap ve şeriat getirme; nebfniri ise önceki resulün/elçinin getirdiği şeriatı ve kitabı insanlara bildirme olarak belirlenmiştir.
Bu çalışmada meselenin böyle olmadığı resul ve nebi kavramlannın, peygamberlerin birçok niteliklerinin yanında bunlann da iki ayn nitelikleri olduğıı, Kur'an bütünlüğü temelinde tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Buna göre her resul nebi, her nebi de resuldür.
In this article, the Quranic terms "messenger" and "prophet" are
analyzed by critical approach in, the cantext of Qur'an. The main purpose of this kind of study is the fact·that these two terms were named and established in a different way from the Qur'an and Hadith in Islarnic thought. First and faremost in the source books of the transla
tions and the words "messenger" and "prophet" are distinguished from each other as different identities. This distinction came through ages
and formulated as "each and every messenger is a prophet, but not every prophet is a messenger". It is stated that the requirement for
being a messenger is to bring a new book and law while the requirement for being a "prophet" is to teach the book and the law brought by
the previous messenger to the people.
In this study, it is tried to make it out clear that these two properties are not two distinct identities as widely known but just the properties of the prophets. Thus, each messenger is a prophet, and each prophet is a messenger.
