Değer analizi yaklaşımı yoluyla dürüstlük değerine yönelik öğrenci cevaplarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada değer analizi yaklaşımı yoluyla dürüstlük değerine yönelik öğrenci cevaplarının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışmadır ve özel durum yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bütüncül tek durum deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Nevşehir ili Acıgöl İlçesi’ne bağlı bir ortaokulda yedinci sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan on iki öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin beşi kız, yedisi erkektir. Veri toplama aracı olarak, değer analizi yaklaşımı esas alınarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan çalışma yaprakları kullanılmıştır. Çalışma yaprağı bir örnek olay ve sekiz sorudan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler ışığında denilebilir ki; değer analizinde çözüm yollarının olası sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi olan altıncı basamak, öğrencilerin en çok zorlandıkları basamaktır. Buna karşın sorun hakkında bilgi ve kanıtların toplanması olan üçüncü basamak öğrencilerin en yüksek oranda yeterli yanıt verdikleri basamaktır. Diğer taraftan öğrencilerin en çok zorlandıkları basamak değer sorununun belirlenmesi basamağı olan birinci basamak ve seçilen öneriye uygun davranışların ifade edilmesi olan en son basamak olarak dikkat çekmektedir.

In this research, it is aimed to examine student answers towards honesty value through value analysis approach. The research is a qualitative study and case study method is used. The research has been carried out with a holistic single case design. The study group of the research consists of twelve students who are studying in the seventh grade in a secondary school affiliated to the Acıgöl District of Nevşehir. Five of those involved students are girls, and seven of them are boys. As data collection tool, work sheets based on value analysis approach prepared by the researchers were used. The work sheet consists of a case study and eight questions. According to the data obtained from the study, it can be said that the sixth step, which is the assessment of possible outcomes of solutions in value analysis is the most difficult one for the students. However, the students gave the highest rate of full answers in the third step which requires gathering information and evidence about the problem. On the other hand, it is remarkable that the most difficult step is the first step which requires determining the value problem, and the last step which they have to express behaviors appropriate to the selected proposal.
