Sanal ortamda gerçekleştirilen müze gezilerinin ilköğretim öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik tutumlarına etkisi

Abstract

Öz: Bu arastırma, Đlköğretim 5. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde sanal ortamda gerçeklestirilen müze gezilerinin öğrencilerin derse yönelik tutumları üzerindeki etkisini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Arastırmada ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneme modeli kullanılmıstır. Deney gurubu 15, kontrol gurubu ise 17 öğrenciden olusmustur. Arastırmanın verileri için her iki gruba, deneysel çalısma sürecinin basında ve sonunda “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” uygulanmıstır. Veriler 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyi dikkate alınarak SPSS 15 programından yararlanılarak analiz edilmistir. Analiz sonuçları deney ve kontrol grubunun son test ölçüm sonuçlarına göre deney grubu lehine anlamlı farklılık olduğunu göstermektedir [t(30)=4.351, p<.05]. Buna göre, Đlköğretim 5. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi, sanal müze gezileri ile desteklenerek yapılan etkinliklerin öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler dersine yönelik tutumları üzerinde olumlu bir etki olusturduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the effects of virtual museum visits on elementary students’ attitudes towards social study courses. Pre-test, post test control group experimental model was used in the study. 15 students were assigned to experimental group and 17 students were assigned to control group. As a research data, “Attitudes towards Social Studies Scale” was administered to students both before and after the implementation. The data obtained were analyzed by SPSS 15 program. Findings are based on interpretation of the 0.05 significance level. As a result of this analysis, the experimental and control groups according to the post test results showed that there is a significant difference in favor of the experimental group [t(30)=4.351, p<.05]. According to this result, elementary 5th grade students showed positive attitudes towards social studies couses when supported by a virtual museum visit.
