Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu'nun "Bugünki Türkiye" dizisi romanlarında söylem analizi

Abstract

Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu, tarihî romanları ile bilinen Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk edebiyatının en üretken yazarlarından biridir. Sepetçioğlu, kendine özgü üslubu ve konusunu tarihten alan farklı türde eserleriyle dikkat çekmiştir. Yazarın bu eksende kaleme aldığı Bugünki Türkiye dizisi romanları da konusu itibarıyla önemli eserleri arasındadır. Bu çalışmada, devir romanı olarak nitelendirilen Bugünki Türkiye dizisi romanları Cevahir ile Sadık Çavuş'un Buğday Kamyonu, Karanlıkta Mum Işığı ve Güneşin Dört Köşesi'nin söylem analizi yaklaşımıyla incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Söz konusu edebî eserlerin disiplinlerarası bir yaklaşım olan söylem analizi ile ele alınması metnin derin yapısına ilişkin çözümlemeler yapılmasını sağlamaktadır. Böylece kurgusal metin unsurlarından elde edilen verilerin söylem analizi ışığında farklı bağlamlardan haraketle incelenmesi özgün ve geniş çaplı bir çalışma alanı sunmaktadır. Bu tezde ilk olarak çalışmanın konusu, amacı ve yöntemine dair bilgiler verilmiş; tezin bölümleri hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde söylemin kavramsal tanımına ve söylem analizinin farklı bağlamlarda kullanımına yer verilerek anlatma esasına bağlı metinlerde söylem analizine dair fikirler tartışılmıştır. Ardından tezin ikinci bölümünde yazar ve yazarın romancılığı hakkındaki bilgiler ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra çalışmaya konu olan romanların kurgusal metin sınırlılıkları içerisinde söylem analizi çözümlemesi yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak incelenen romanlarda tespit edilen söylemler belli başlıklar altında örnekler verilerek açıklanmıştır. Eserlerde siyasi, sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel ve dinsel düzlem çerçevesinde oluşturulan fikirler kurgusal metin bağlamında yorumlanmıştır.

Mustafa Necati Sepetçioğlu is one of the most prolific writers of the Republican period Turkish literature, known for his historical novels. Sepetçioğlu has attracted attention with his unique style and different types of works that take their subject from history. The novels of Today's Turkey series, written by the author on this axis, are also among his important works in terms of their subject. In this study, it is aimed to examine the novels of Today's Turkey series, which are described as revolution novels, with the discourse analysis approach of Cevahir ile Sadık Çavuş'un Buğday Kamyonu, Karanlıkta Mum Işığı ve Güneşin Dört Köşesi. The handling of these literary works with discourse analysis, which is an interdisciplinary approach, enables analyses of the deep structure of the text. Thus, the examination of the data obtained from the fictional text elements from different contexts in the light of discourse analysis offers a unique and wide-ranging field of study. In this thesis, firstly, information about the subject, purpose and method of the study has been given; explanations have been given about the sections of the thesis. In the first part of the study, the conceptual definition of discourse and the use of discourse analysis in different contexts are included and the ideas about discourse analysis in texts based on narration have been discussed. Then, in the second part of the thesis, the information about the author and the author's novelism has been discussed. Then, discourse analysis has been made within the fictional text limitations of the novels subject to the study. As a result, the discourses identified in the examined novels has been explained by giving examples under certain headings. In the works, the ideas formed within the framework of political, social, economic, cultural and religious planes were interpreted in the context of the fictional text.
