Türkiye’de hayat boyu öğrenme konusunda yapılan tezlerin bibliyografik değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de hayat boyu öğrenme konusunda yapılan tezlerin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla ulusal tez merkezinde yer alan, 2007 ve 2018 yılları arasında tamamlanmış hayat boyu öğrenme konusu ile ilgili lisansüstü tezler incelenmiştir. Tez başlığında “hayat boyu öğrenme” ve “yaşam boyu öğrenme” anahtar kelimeleri aranarak ulaşılan 12 tane doktora ve 68 tane yüksek lisans düzeyinde gerçekleştirilmiş 80 tane erişim izinli çalışma değerlendirilmeye alınmıştır. Doküman tarama yöntemi ile tezlerin yıl, anahtar kelime, yöntem, örneklem, veri toplama aracı, veri analiz yöntemleri bir Excel belgesine girilip, ardından analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada yer alan bazı sonuçlar şu şekildedir: İlgili konuda yapılan ilk tezler 2007 yılına aittir. Çoğunlukla 2014-2018 aralığında çalışma yapılmıştır. Konu olarak daha çok mesleki ve hizmet içi eğitim; yöntem olarak daha çok nicel, örneklem olarak daha çok öğretmen; veri toplama aracı olarak daha çok ölçek; analiz yöntemi olarak ise daha çok betimsel analiz yapıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca araştırma sonuçlarında tezlerin yıllarına göre konu, yöntem ve örneklem gruplarının dağılımına yer verilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın hayat boyu öğrenme konusunda araştırmacılara ve uygulayıcılara yol gösterici olacağı düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this study is to examine the theses prepared about lifelong learning in Turkey. For this purpose, theses on lifelong learning conducted between 2007 and 2018 in the national thesis center had been examined. 12 doctoral dissertation and 68 master theses with access permission which were reached by searching the keywords "lifelong learning" in the thesis title were evaluated. Using the document scanning method, the year, keyword, method, sample, data collection tool and data analysis methods of the theses were entered into a spreadsheet file and then analyzed. Some of the results in the research are as follows: The first theses on the subject are in 2007. Mostly, the studies were carried out between 2014 and 2018. It had been concluded that mostly the vocational and in-service training were used as the subject; mostly a quantitative method was used as the method; mostly the teachers were considered as the sample; mostly a scale was a tool for the data collection; and mostly a descriptive analysis was used as an analysis method. In addition, the distribution of subject, method and sample groups according to the years of theses is included in the research results. It was thought that this research will guide researchers and practitioners about lifelong learning.
