dc.description.abstract	Ce2GdCo11B4 bileşiğinin manyetik özellikleri ve manyetokalorik etkinin incelenmesi, x-ışını kırınım ve mıknatıslanma ölçümleri ile incelenmiştir. Örnekler arkla-eritme yöntemiyle hazırlanmıştır. Bileşik, P6/mmm uzay grubundaki hekzagonal Ce3Co11B4-tipi yapıda kristalize olur. Ce2GdCo11B4 bileşiği TC=301 K'de ferrimanyetik düzendedir. Tden.=40 K'de bir dengelenme sıcaklığı noktası bulunmuştur. Ce2GdCo11B4 bileşiğinin maksimum manyetik entropi değişimi \|?Smax\|, 0?5 T'lik bir alan değişimi için 0.306 Jkg?1K?1 bulunmuştur. Arrott çizimleri, Curie sıcaklığındaki manyetik faz geçişinin ikinci dereceden olduğunu göstermektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Manyetokalorik etki; manyetik malzemeler; manyetik özellikler.	tr_TR
dc.description.abstract	Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects of Ce2GdCo11B4 compound were studied by means of x-ray diffraction and magnetization measurements. The sample was prepared by arc-melting. The compound crystallizes in a hexagonal Ce3Co11B4-type structure with P6/mmm space group. Ce2GdCo11B4 compound orders ferrimagnetically at TC=301 K. A compensation point at Tcomp.=40 K was found. The maximum magnetic entropy change \|?Smax\| of Ce2GdCo11B4 is 0.306 Jkg?1K?1 for a field change of 0?5 T. The Arrott plots show that magnetic phase transition at the Curie temperature is second-order.Keywords: Magnetocaloric effect; magnetic materials; magnetic properties	tr_TR
