Abstract:
The main objective of this study is to investigate the
impact of residents’ quality of life and community attachment on
support for tourism development in the rural destination during the
COVID‐19 pandemic. This preliminary research adopted a
quantitative research approach and used a questionnaire that was
applied to residents who are in Yozgat (Turkey). A total of 250
usable questionnaires were included in the data analysis. As a result
of the investigation, it was concluded that community attachment
and residents’ overall quality of life impact positively residents’
support for tourism during the pandemic.
