Accepted to be the first narration type among the outcomes of oral culture in Turkish Folk Literature, myths are narrations through which human beings try to consciously explain themselves, their needs, the universe, the nature and the existence of all the objects. Through these narrations, the world had a system and a new meaning. Myths have led to new births of various narration types as a result of the changes, in the course of time, in the needs of the societies, of the changes in the conditions of the geography they lived in, and of the changes of their myth narrators. Among these narrations types, parables and rumours exıst as well as legends, epos and stories. Parables and rumours are informative narrations within the myth narrations which cover religious and historical characteristics.
