Kayseri yöresi efsaneleri: İnceleme - metinler

Abstract

The legends which are the production of oral traditions, are so important in the narrative tradition of Turkish nation. The legends are the reflection of Turkish people's cultural, social, historical and religious structure. Kayseri is such a rich city in terms of oral traditional products. Compilations have been done for so many types of oral traditions in Kayseri. In this study, the types of legends are compiled with important types of oral tradition and studied academically. The legends are analyzed with motif and context obtained by compilation method of Kayseri and Kayseri's districts. It is intended to contribute national and universal culture. Mythological elements which have in Turkish culture are felt in form of belief and motif narratives. Our study shows the Turkish Nation's mythological elements that shaped culture, literature and narrative results till the ancient times for finding out the shape in the Kayseri Legends and indicating the continous role in Turkish folklore and literature as other oral culture elements. The study, named The Legends of Kayseri (Review-Texts), is given information about types of legend and then legend texts are analyzed by motif and context origin. The legends are obtained with "Interview technique" in this study. Not only compiled legends but also written sources are used. There are compiled area, photographs of resource persons and a map belongs to work area available at the end of this study.

Sözlü geleneğin bir ürünü olan efsaneler, Türk milletinin anlatı geleneği içerisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Efsaneler, milletin kültürel, sosyal, tarihî ve dinî yapısını yansıtan anlatılardır. Kayseri, sözlü gelenek ürünleri bakımından zengin bir şehirdir. Kayseri’de birçok sözlü gelenek türü için derleme çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada Kayseri’de, sözlü geleneğin önemli bir türü olan efsane türünü derlenmiş ve akademik olarak çalışılmıştır. Kayseri ve ilçelerinden derleme yöntemiyle elde edilen efsaneler motif ve bağlam açısından incelenerek bu çalışmanın millî ve evrensel kültüre katkı sağlaması amaçlanmıştır. Türk kültüründe var olan mitolojik unsurlar, anlatılarda motif ve inanç şeklinde kendini hissettirmektedir. Bu çalışmamız Türk milletinin eski tarihlerinden itibaren edebiyat, kültür ve anlatı ürünlerini şekillendiren mitolojik unsurların Kayseri efsanelerindeki şekillerini ortaya çıkarmak ve tarihten itibaren gelen bu izlerin Türk folklor ve edebiyatında devam ettiğini, diğer sözlü kültür ürünlerinde olduğu gibi değişerek gelişeceğini göstermektir. Kayseri Yöresi Efsaneleri (İnceleme-Metinler) adlı çalışmada efsane türüne ait bilgiler verilmiş, daha sonra efsane metinleri hem motifleri bakımından hem de bağlam merkezli olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada efsaneler “görüşme tekniği” ile elde edilmiştir. Derlenen efsaneler dışında yazılı kaynaklardan alınan efsanelere de çalışmada yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın son kısmında derleme alanı ve kaynak kişilere ait fotoğraflar ve çalışma alanına ait bir haritaya yer verilmiştir.
