Türkiye’de havayolu iç hat yolcu transferi üzerine ampirik bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 1988-2018 döneminde, Türkiye’de havayolu yolcu transferi (taşınan yolcu sayısı) üzerinde etkili olduğu düşünülen bazı iktisadi göstergeleri analiz etmek amaçlanmıştır. Havayolu ulaşımının gerek yolcu gerekse yük taşımacılığı açısından lojistik sistemlerinin önemli bir tercihi olan zaman unsuru açısından diğer taşımacılık seçeneklerine nispeten baskın olması, ülkemizin son yıllarda havayolu taşımacılığına büyük yatırımlar yapması, coğrafi konumumuz nedeniyle havayolu taşımacılığında önemli bir konumda yer alması ve havayolu taşımacılığının ekonomik katkıları sebebiyle son yıllarda bu alanda akademik çalışmalar yoğunlaşmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın bağımlı değişkeni, Türkiye’de havayolu yolcu transferi (taşınan yolcu sayısı)’dir. Bağımsız değişkenleri ise GSYH, kentleşme, kişilerarası sosyal küreselleşme endeksi ve tüketici fiyat endeksi’dir. Çalışmada kurulun modelin analizinde Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL) and Error Correction Model (ECM) kullanılmıştır. ARDL analizi sonucuna göre, Türkiye’de Havayolu ile taşınan yolcu sayısı (HYY) üzerinde kentleşme (PU) göstergesinin istatistiki olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü etkisi varken; tüketici fiyat endeksinin (TÜFE) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve negatif yönlü etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Modelin Hata Düzeltme Modeli (ECM) sonucunda ise, hata düzeltme teriminin istatistiki olarak anlamsız olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it is aimed to analyze some economic indicators that are thought to be effective on air passenger transfer (number of passengers carried) in Turkey during the 1988-2018 period. In recent years, academic studies in this field have intensified due to the fact that airways transporting is relatively dominant over other transport options in terms of time, which is an important choice of logistics systems in terms of both passenger and freight transport, our country has made large investments in airways transporting in recent years, our country has an important position in airways 108 transporting due to our geographical location, and there are economic contributions of airways transporting. Accordingly, the dependent variable of the study is air passenger transfer (number of passengers carried) in Turkey. Its independent variables are GDP, urbanization, interpersonal social globalization index and consumer price index. In the study, Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL) and Error Correction Model (ECM) were used in the analysis of the installed model. According to the ARDL analysis result, while the urbanization (PU) indicator has a statistically significant and positive effect on the number of passengers transported by air (HYY) in Turkey; It has been determined that the consumer price index (CPI) has a statistically significant and negative effect. As a result of the Error Correction Model (ECM) of the model, it was determined that the error correction term was statistically insignificant.
