Bilgi sosyolojisi açısından din ve zihniyet

Abstract

İnsanlar ve toplumlar yaşamlarının hemen her basamağında bilgiye ihtiyaç duymuşlardır. İnsanlığın en eski ve en temel sorunlarından biri olan bilgi, özellikle felsefe ve din çevrelerinde suje-obje ilişkisi çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Ancak bu bakış açısı genelde bireysel olmuş, onun toplumsal boyutuna ve toplumla olan ilişkisine çoğu kere dikkat edilmemiştir. Gerçekliğin yaşandığı nesnel dünyada anlam ve bilgi insan zihninden bağımsız olsa bile her zaman insani bir yapım olmak zorundadır. Gerçekliği yaşarken, bilen insan zihninin bilgi ve nesnel gerçekliğin araştırılıp, incelenmesi toplumsal boyutunun ele alınması görevi ise bilgi sosyolojisine düşmektedir. Dünyamızın her alanını kuşatan bilgi ve onun tartıştığı önemli konulardan biri olan din ve zihniyetin, sosyo-kültürel yapı içerisindeki varlıkları ve fonksiyonlarının sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla incelenmesi; bu unsurların aslında birbirlerini tamamlayıcı konumda oldukları, farkında olmadan gündelik yaşam içerisinde çok sık kullanıldıkları ve bilgi sosyolojisi ile olan bağlantıları bu makalede konu edilmiştir.

People and societies are in need of information at about every stage of life. Knowledge, one of the oldest and the most basic problems of humanity, has been handled within the frame of suje-obje relation in especially philosophy and religion circles. However, this perspective has usually been individual, its social dimension and relation with society haven’t been given attention most times. Even if meaning and information in objective world where the reality occurs are independent from the human mind, it always has to be a human construction. While experiencing the reality, the task of dealing with the social dimension by researching objective reality and knowledge of knowing human mind is sociology of knowledge.This article has mentioned about the examination of knowledge surrounding every area of our world and religion and mentality, one of the most important subjects that it discusses, their existences in social-cultural structure and the examination their functions in a sociological perspective; about the fact that these elements are actually in complementary positions for each other, that they are often used in daily life unconsciously and about their connections with sociology of knowledge.
