Alternatif ölçme değerlendirme ile ilgili yapılan araştırmaların incelenmesi: Bir içerik analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde ve DergiPark’ta yayınlanan alternatif ölçme değerlendirme ile ilgili tez ve makalelerin belirlenen ölçütlere göre içerik analizini yapmak ve yıllara göre çalışmaların nasıl bir değişim gösterdiğini belirlemektir. Yapılan çalışma derleme çalışması olup; içerik analizine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 27 tez ve 18 makale içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Makale ve tez seçiminde ise eğitimde Yapılandırmacı (constructivist) yaklaşıma geçilen tarih esas alınmıştır. Bu yüzden 2008 yılı ile 2020 yılları arasındaki çalışmaların seçilmesine dikkat edilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamına alınan her tez ve makale “Tez/Makale Kodlama Formu” kullanılarak içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmaya dahil edilen makale ve tezler form da yer alan; çalışmaların yöntemi ve modeli/deseni, tezin yayınlandığı yıl, kullanılan veri toplama araçları, araştırma odak konu alanı, örneklem büyüklüğü ve örneklem türüne göre incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler frekans değerlerine göre yorumlanmış ve tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Verilerin analiz edilmesi sonucunda en fazla çalışmanın 2018 yılında yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte incelenen çalışmalarda en fazla kullanılan yöntemin nicel, en az kullanılan yöntemin ise nitel araştırma yöntemi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmalardaki örneklem büyüklüğü ile örneklem türüne bakıldığında en fazla 101-300 kişilik bir örneklem aralığında çalışmaların yoğunlaştığı ve en fazla tesadüfi örnekleme yönteminin kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Çalışmalar odak konu alanlarına göre incelendiğinde; en fazla çalışmanın öğretmen/ öğretmen adayı görüşleri konu alanında çalışma yapıldığı ve en fazla kullanılan veri toplama aracının da anket ile görüşme formu olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Yapılan çalışma, lisansüstü tez ve makalelerdeki yönelimleri belirleyerek gelecek çalışmalara yol gösterici olmasından dolayı önem taşımaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the content of theses and articles about alternative assessment and evaluation published in YÖK National Thesis Center and DergiPark according to the determined criteria and to determine how the studies have changed over the years. The aims of the study are analyzed as review studies and the study was conducted based on content analysis. In the study, 27 theses and 18 articles selected by purposeful sampling method were subjected to content analysis. In the selection of the article and thesis, the date of transition to the constructivist approach in education was taken as the criterion. Therefore, attention has been paid to the selection of studies between 2008 and 2020. Each thesis and article included in the study were subjected to content analysis using the "Thesis / Article Coding Form". The articles and theses included in the study were examined according to the method and model / design of the studies, the year the thesis was published, the data collection tools used, the research focus area, the sample size and the sample type. The obtained data were interpreted according to frequency values and presented in tables. As a result of the analysis of the data, it was determined that the most research was conducted in 2018. However, it was determined that the most used method in the investigated studies was quantitative and the least used method was qualitative research method. Considering the sample size and sample type in the studies, it is seen that the sample range with 101-300 participants is the most preferred and the random sampling method is used the most. When the studies are examined according to focus subject areas; it was revealed that the most studies were conducted in the field of teacher / pre-service teacher opinions and the most used data collection tool was the questionnaire and interview form. The study is important because it determines the trends in theses and articles and guides future studies.
