Çinko piritionun Oreochromis niloticus üzerindeki genotoksik etkisinin mikronükleus testi ile belirlenmesi

Abstract

In this study, zinc pyrithione (ZnPT), which is a zinc metal complex pollutant mixed in domestic, industrial and general purpose use to aquatic ecosystem, has an LC50 value of 1/24 (2,5μL/L) and 1/12 (5μL/L) of Oreochromis niloticus Possible genotoxic effects in the Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings were determined using micronucleus test in fish erythrocytes. As a result of the laboratory studies performed, it was determined that the individuals exposed to ZnPT for 24 and 96 hours showed an increase in micronucleus and morphological irregularities according to the control group

Bu çalışmada sucul ekosisteme evsel, endüstriyel ve genel amaçlı kullanım sonucunda kirletici olarak karışan çinko metal kompleksi olan çinko piritionun (ZnPT) LC50 değerinin 1/24 (2,5μl/L ) ve 1/12 (5μl/L)’sinin Oreochromis niloticus türünün fingerlinglerinde genotoksik etkileri, balık eritrositlerinde mikronükleus testi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Yapılan laboratuvar çalışmaları sonucunda 24 ve 96 saat süreyle ZnPT’a maruz bırakılan bireylerin kontrol grubuna göre mikronükleus ve morfolojik düzensizlik değerlerinde artış görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir.
