Yürütülen bu çalışmada gastronomi blogları, destinasyon yemek imajı ve davranışsal niyetler arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında öncelikle literatür taraması yapılmış, ardından nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan anket tekniği uygulanarak veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma evreni olarak Türkiye seçilmiştir. Anket formunun oluşturulmasında cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş, eğitim durumu ve meslekten oluşan demografik sorular, gastronomi bloglarından faydalanma ve okuma sıklıklarıyla ilgili sorular, Wang (2011)'ın 7 boyut ve 29 ifadeden oluşan gastronomi blogları ölçeği, Promsivapallop ve Kannaovakun (2019)'un 5 boyut ve 25 ifadeden oluşan destinasyon yemek imajı ölçeği ve Yang ve Peterson (2004)'ın tek boyut ve 5 ifadeden oluşan davranışsal niyet ölçeğinden yararlanılmıştır. Anket verileri 14 Ocak 2023 – 21 Mart 2023 tarihleri arasında e-anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Anketi eksiksiz tamamlayan 476 katılımcının verileri değerlendirilmeye alınmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS Statistic 22 ve AMOS programları kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre gastronomi bloglarının destinasyon yemek imajı ve davranışsal niyet üzerinde etkili olduğu, destinasyon yemek imajının davranışsal niyet üzerinde etkili olduğu ve gastronomi bloglarının davranışsal niyet üzerindeki etkisinde destinasyon yemek imajının aracılık rolü olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.oldurulacak.

These blogs can provide readers with information about different cuisines, restaurants, and food destinations. Additionally, they can encourage readers to travel to new places and try new foods. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the role of gastronomy blogs in shaping destination image and behavioral intention. Destination image refers to the overall perception people have about a specific place, while behavioral intention expresses the likelihood of engaging in a specific action, such as visiting a destination. There are several reasons why gastronomy blogs can be effective in shaping destination image and behavioral intention. These blogs often offer readers detailed information about the culinary scene of a destination. This information can include restaurant reviews, recipes, and photographs of local dishes. Such details help readers visualize what it's like to visit a destination and experience its food culture. Gastronomy blogs can create a sense of authenticity. When readers read about a destination's cuisine through the eyes of local blogger, they gain an understanding of what it's truly like to live and eat there. This can make the destination more appealing and increase the reader's likelihood of wanting to visit. Gastronomy blogs can serve as a source of inspiration. When readers see photos of delicious dishes and read about the experiences of other travel enthusiasts, they can be inspired to plan their own trips. This can lead to an increase in tourism that can benefit the local economy. In conclusion, gastronomy blogs can play a significant role in shaping destination image and behavioral intention. These blogs provide information, create a sense of authenticity, and inspire travel. In this study, the relationships between gastronomy blogs, destination food image, and behavioral intentions were examined. Initially, a literature reviews was conducted, followed by data collection through a survey, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Turkey was selected as the research population. The survey form included demographic questions regarding gender, marial status, age, education level, and occupation, as well as questions related to the utilization and frequency of reading gastronomy blogs, Wang's (2011) 7 dimensions and 29 questions gastronomy blog scale, Promsivapallop and Kannaovakun's (2019) 5 dimensions and 25 questions destination food image scale, and Yang and Peterson's (2004) single dimension and 5 questions behavioral intention scale. The survey data was collected through an online survey method from January 14, 2023, to March 21, 2023. The data of 472 participants who completed the survey in its entirety were evaluated. SPSS Statistic 22 and AMOS programs were used for data analysis. Based on the findings from the conducted analyses, it was concluded that gastronomy blogs have an effect on destination food image and behavioral intention, that destination image has an impact on behavioral intention, and that destination food image has a mediating role in the effect of gastronomy blogs on behavioral intention.
