Abstract:
This study provides the differences and similarities between peer observation in online
teaching and face-to-face teaching on the perspectives of a group of English language
teachers. The aim is to investigate if teachers’ way of teaching vary in online teaching and
face-to-face teaching according to the results of peer observation questionnaire. The
participants are seven English language instructors at Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University
School of Foreign Languages. The participants observed their peer’s online lessons and
stated their opinions on a peer observation questionnaire. This term they will also observe
their peer’s face-to-face lessons and state their opinions on a peer observation
questionnaire. The study will be evaluated through reliable statitistics packaging
programmes.
