Bu çalışma, yaşlılık olgusunun kadınlar üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla toplam 60 yaş üzeri 201 kadın katılımcı ile yüz yüze anket yapılarak toplanan verilerin analiz edilmesi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu yönüyle çalışma, gerek kadınların yaşlılık tutumları hakkında bilgi edinilmesi yönünde bilgiler sağlarken gerekse toplumsal bir konuda sunduğu bilgilerle literatüre katkı sağlamaktadır. Araştırmanın temel hipotezi; katılımcıların Avrupa Yaşlanma tutumu anketi alt boyutları olan; psikososyal kayıp, bedensel değişim, psikososyal gelişme puanlarının çeşitli demografik faktörlerin etkisinde değişimlerinin görülebilmesi üzerine kurulmuştur. Araştırma sonunda ulaşılan bulgular ise literatürde bu alanda yapılan diğer çalışma sonuçlarıyla kıyaslanarak benzerlik ve farklılıklar ortaya konulmuştur. Katılımcılar, Ankara ili Çankaya ilçesinden seçilen rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma hipotezlerini test etmek için yapılanTtesti ve Anova analizleri ile çıkan sonuçlara göre yaş faktörünün bedensel değişim ve psikososyal kayıp üzerinde etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Özellikle 60-64 yaş arası kadınların bu değişimleri daha çok hissettikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca bunun yanında sağlık sorunu olan kişilerin bedensel değişimleri yaşlandıkça daha çok hissettikleri de yapılan analizler sonucunda tespit edilmiştir.
This study was carried out by analyzing the data collected by conducting a face-toface survey with a total of 201 female participants over the age of 60 in order to determine the effects of aging on women In this respect, the study contributes to the literature both by providing information on women's aging attitudes and by providing information on a social issue. The basic hypothesis of the research; the sub-dimensions of the European Aging Attitude Questionnaire of the participants; It is based on seeing the changes in psychosocial loss, physical change, psychosocial development scores under the influence of various demographic factors. The findings obtained at the end of the study were compared with the results of other studies in this field in the literature, and similarities and differences were revealed. Participants were determined by random sampling method selected from Çankaya district of Ankara province. According to the results obtained with the T test and Anova analyzes conducted to test the research hypotheses, it was determined that the age factor was effective on the physical change and psychosocial loss. It was concluded that especially women between the ages of 60-64 felt these changes more. In addition, it has been determined as a result of the analyzes that people with health problems feel more bodily changes as they get older.
