Sportif performansın optimum düzeyde ortaya çıkması için fizyolojik yeterliliğin yanında sporcunun mental olarak da iyi bir hazırlık sürecinden geçmiş olması gerekmektedir. İmgeleme bu amaçla son dönemde kullanılan psikolojik tekniklerden birisidir. Bu çalışmada süper amatör ligİ futbolcularının, yaşı, eğitim durumu, spor yaşı ve mevkiye göre hangi imgeleme türünü kullandıkları açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmaya 2021-2022 Mersin Süper Amatör Liginde oynayan lisanslı 119 futbolcu katılmıştır. Çalışmada kişisel bilgi formunun yanı sıra Sporda İmgeleme Envanteri uygulanmıştır. Dağılımların normallik varsayımını karşılayıp karşılamadığı Kolmogorov-Smirnov Testi ile sınanmıştır. İkili karşılaştırmalar için Bağımsız Gruplarda T-Testi, ikiden fazla grubun karşılaştırılmasında ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Farklı grubu/grupları belirlemek amacıyla LSD post-hoc testi uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyi olarak 0.05 kabul edilmiştir. Sporda İmgeleme Envanteri alt boyutları incelendiğinde en yüksek ortalamanın bilişsel imgeleme (x̄ = 61.69 ± 12.78) alt boyutunda; en düşük ortalamanın ise motivasyonel genel ustalık (x̄ = 17.39 ± 4,00) alt boyutunda ortaya çıktığı görülmektedir. Diğer alt boyutlara ait ortalamalar bu değerler arasında yer almaktadır. Futbolcuların spor yaşı değişkenine göre motivasyonel genel uyarılmışlık (F=2.677, p<0.05) ve motivasyonel genel ustalık (F=2.206, p<0.05) alt boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark vardır. LSD testi sonuçlarına göre farkların motivasyonel genel uyarılmışlık alt boyutunda 1-8 yıl ile 9-12 yıl arasında, motivasyonel genel ustalık alt boyutunda ise 9-12 yıl ve 13 yıl üzeri ile arasında olduğu bulunmuştur. Futbolcuların oynadığı en üst lige göre imgeleme alt boyutları arasındaki farklar incelendiğinde bilişsel imgeleme (F=2.517, p<0.05), motivasyonel genel uyarılmışlık (F=1.795, p<0.05) ve motivasyonel genel ustalık (F=1.594, p<0.05) alt boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar vardır. Farkların bilişsel imgeleme boyutunda profesyonel lig ile 1. Amatör lig, süper amatör lig ile 1. amatör lig arasında; motivasyonel genel uyarılmışlıkta 2. Amatör lig, süper amatör ve profesyonel ligler arasında; motivasyonel genel ustalıkta ise 1. Amatör lig ve süper amatör ligler arasında olduğu görülmektedir. Futbolcuların yaşı, eğitim durumu ve mevkiye göre imgeleme alt boyutları arasında anlamlı fark olmadığı bulunmuştur. Elde ettiğimiz bulgulara dayanarak sporcunun deneyimi arttıkça kaygı ve uyarılmışlık seviyesini kontrol altında tutmakla beraber belli durumlarda taktik ve teknik sorunlarla nasıl baş edebileceklerini imgelediklerini söylemek mümkündür.
For optimum sportive performance, besides physiological competence, the athlete must have gone through a good preparation process mentally. Imagery is one of the recent psychological techniques used for this purpose. In this study, it was tried to explain which type of imagery the super amateur league footballers use according to their age, education level, sports age, and position. 119 licensed football players who perform in the 2021-2022 Mersin Super Amateur League participated in the study. In the study, besides the personal information form, the Sports Imagination Inventory was applied. Whether the distributions meet the normality assumption was tested with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The T-Test for independent groups was used for pairwise comparisons, and the One-Way Analysis of Variance Analysis was used for comparison of more than two groups. LSD post-hoc test was implemented to identify different group(s). 0.05 was accepted as the statistical significance level. When the Sports Imagination Inventory sub-dimensions were examined, the highest mean score for the cognitive imagery (x̄ = 61.69 ± 12.78) sub-dimension; the lowest mean score for the motivational general mastery (x̄ = 17.39 ± 4.00) sub-dimension were found. The mean scores of the other sub-dimensions were between these values. There is a statistically significant difference in the sub-dimensions of motivational general arousal (F=2.677, p<0.05) and motivational general mastery (F=2.206, p<0.05) according to the sports age of the football players. According to the results of the LSD test, the differences were found to be between 1-8 years and 9-12 years for the motivational general arousal sub-dimension, and between 9-12 years and over 13 years for the motivational general mastery sub-dimension. When the differences between the sub-dimensions of imagery are examined, according to the top league footballers were playing, significant differences were found for cognitive imagery (F=2.517, p<0.05), motivational general arousal (F=1.795, p<0.05), and motivational general mastery (F=1.594, p<0.05) sub-dimensions. For the cognitive imagery differences between the professional league and the 1st amateur league, the super amateur league and the 1st amateur league; for the motivational general arousal, differences between 2nd amateur league, super amateur league, and professional leagues; for the motivational general mastery, the difference between the 1st amateur and super amateur leagues were found. There were no significant differences between the sub-dimensions of imagery according to the age, educational status, and position of the football players. Based on our findings, it is possible to say that as the experience of the athlete increases, they keep their anxiety and arousal levels under control by imagining how they can cope with special tactical and technical problems in special situations.
