Bu makalenin konusu, Molla Sadrâ’nın tenâsüh düşüncesine yönelttiği eleştirileri araştırmaktır. Sadrâ, bu meseleyle ilgili olarak kendisinden önce kullanılan aleyhte delillere bazı deliller eklemeyi başarmıştır. Tenâsüh inancına dair ciddi eleştiriler getiren Sadrâ, bir taraftan Aristocu
Meşşâî Felsefeyi takip etmekteyken diğer taraftan da Eflâtun’un yanlış anlaşıldığını savunmuştur.
Çalışmayı önemi kılan noktalardan birisi, Sadrâ’nın da ispatlamaya çalıştığı ahiretteki cismanî
diriliş ile tenâsüh arasındaki ayrımları belirginleştirme gayretidir. Ayrıca Sadrâ’nın madde-suret
öğretisini tenâsüh konusuna uygulamış olması da önemlidir. Tenâsüh düşüncesinin çıkış nedeni
nefsin maddeden kopuk ve ayrık bir varoluşa sahip olduğu anlayışı ve insanın eylemlerinden sorumlu olmasını gerektiren nedensellik fikridir. Sadrâ’ya göre, nefisler bedenleriyle beraber varoluşlarını gerçekleştirdiği için bir bedenin ancak bir nefsi olabilir. Nefsin fiilî olarak kendisini gerçekleştirmesinden sonra başka bir bedende bilkuvvelik niteliği kazanması imkânsızdır. Ayrıca
nefsin bedeni terk edip başka bir bedene geçmesi, dolayısıyla bir bedende iki nefsin beraberce yer
etmesi gerekecektir ki, bunun gerçekleşmesi söz konusu olamaz. Ancak nefsin berzah ve ahiret
âleminin varoluş şartlarında kendince bir bedene kavuşması mümkündür. Bu aynı zamanda
cismânî haşrin bir tür ifadesi olmakla birlikte, bazı müşkülatlardan hâli değildir. Şu halde yeniden
diriliş bir tür tenasüh olarak değerlendirilemez. Çünkü yeniden diriliş, nefsin kendisinde oluşturduğu fiili varoluş şartlarına bağlıdır. Hâlbuki tenasühte böyle bir kayıt öngörülmez.
The aim of this article is to investigate the criticisms made by Mulla Sadrâ against the
belief of reincarnation (tanâsukh). Sadrâ has managed to add some new evidence to the evidences
produced before him. Sadrâ, making serious criticisms about the belief of reincarnation, followed
the Aristotelian Peripatetic philosophy on the one hand, and argued that Plato was misunderstood
on the other hand. One of the things that make this study important is the explanations made for
Sadrâ’s effort to clarify the distinctions between the bodily resurrection in Hereafter and the reincarnation. It is also important that Sadrâ has applied his theory of matter-form to issue of reincarnation successfully. The reason for the belief of reincarnation to show up is the idea that the soul
(nafs) has an existence that is separated and disconnected from matter and also the idea of causality that requires human being to be responsible for his actions. According to the Sadrâ, since soul
and body perform their existence together, a body can have only one soul. It is impossible for soul
to be in the state of bi al-quwwa in another body after being in the state of bi al-fi’il. In addition,
since the soul leaves the body and move to another body, one body will have to occupy two souls
together, which cannot happen. However, it is possible for soul to reach a body in the conditions
of existence of the Hereafter. This is also a kind of expression the bodily resurrection, but is not
non-problematic. In that case, the resurrection cannot be considered as a kind of reincarnation,
since the resurrection depends on the conditions of the state of being bi al-fi’il created by the soul
in the itself. However, such a consideration cannot be presupposed.
