Deneyimsel pazarlama, tüketiciyi ürünlerin etrafında görmek yerine tüm organizasyonu tüketicinin etrafında
geliştirmek anlamına gelmektedir. Bununla birlikte, tüketicinin duygusal olarak deneyime girmesi ve
sonucunda seçim kararını etkilediği için pazarlama anlayışları arasında oldukça büyük önem arz etmektedir.
Cinsiyet ise, davranışlarımızı ve deneyimlerimizi kadınlar ve erkekler olarak yapılandırmaya ve anlamaya
yardımcı olmaktadır. Cinsiyet birçok alanda araştırmacılar için merak konusu olmuştur ve farklı alanlarda
farklı konularda sıkça ele alınmıştır. Deneyimsel pazarlama alanında ise cinsiyet, uluslararası literatüre
istinaden yerli literatürde daha az araştırma konusu olmuş ve yerli literatürdeki bu eksikliği gidermek için bu
çalışmanın gerçekleştirilmesine ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı, günlük turlara katılan
yerli ve yabancı turistlerin cinsiyetleri ve katılmış oldukları tura ilişkin deneyim algılamalarının farklılaşıp
farklılaşmadığının incelenmesidir. Araştırma verileri Nevşehir merkezli Kapadokya bölgesindeki yerli ve
yabancı turistlerden elde edilmiştir. Veriler anket aracılığıyla toplanmış olup Ocak, Şubat, Mart 2020 tarihleri
arasında günlük Kapadokya turlarına katılan 133 yerli ve 167 yabancı olmak üzere toplam 300 turiste,
profesyonel turist rehberleri aracılığıyla yüz yüze ve tur sonunda online olarak uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen
sonuca istinaden duyusal deneyimin cinsiyete göre farklılık gösterdiği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
Experiential marketing means developing the whole organization around the consumer, rather than seeing
the consumer around the products. However, it is very important among the marketing concepts as it affects
the emotional experience of the consumer and ultimately affects the choice decision. Gender, on the other
hand, helps to structure and understand our behaviors and experiences as women and men. Gender has
been the subject of curiosity for researchers in many areas and has been frequently addressed in different
areas on different topics. In the field of experiential marketing, gender has been the subject of less research
in the domestic literature compared to the international literature. This study was necessary to overcome this
shortcoming in the domestic literature. The purpose of the study in this context is to examine whether the
perception of experience of local and foreign tourists participating in daily tours is different according to their
gender. The research data were obtained from local and foreign tourists in the Nevşehir city of Cappadocia
region. The data was collected through a questionnaire and was applied face to face and online at the end
of the tour through professional tourist guides to 133 local and 167 foreign tourists who participated in daily
Cappadocia tours between January, February and March 2020. Based on the result obtained, it was
concluded that the sense experience differs according to gender.
