Bu çalıĢmanın konusunu Konya‘ya göç etmiĢ bireylerin kente tutunma
serüveni oluĢturmaktadır. Bir neden sonuç iliĢkisi bağlamında bakıldığında içgöç,
toplumumuzun son 60 yıllık dönüĢümünün birçok yönünü belki de en iyi
açıklayabilecek süreçtir. Buna karĢın içgöç olgusu ve bu olguya iliĢkin pek çok
baĢka toplumsal, ekonomik ve kültürel süreç, sosyal bilimciler için önemli bir
araĢtırma nesnesi olsa da bugüne dek yapılan çalıĢmaların yeterli olduğunu
söylemek güçtür. Mevcut çalıĢmalar da daha ziyade Ġstanbul, Ankara ve Ġzmir gibi
metropollerde yoğunlaĢmıĢtır. ÇalıĢmada, ülkemizdeki toplumsal, sosyal, siyasal,
kültürel, ekonomik dönüĢümün çözümlenmesinde merkezi bir rol üstlenen göç
olgusunun, kendine özgü kimliği ve kentleĢmesi ile dikkatleri üzerinde toplayan
Konya özelinde analitik bir incelemeye tabi tutulması, ülkedeki göç ile benzeĢen ve
ayrıĢan boyutlarının mülakat ve anket tekniği bir arada kullanılarak araĢtırılmasını
amaçlanmıĢtır. Bu bağlamda Konya‘ya göç edenlerin hangi saik ya da saiklerle göç
ettiği, Konya‘yı tercih sebepleri, ağırlıklı olarak kentten mi kırdan mı göç ettikleri,
hangi semtlerde yoğunlaĢtıkları, sosyal, kültürel, siyasi tercih ve beklentileri,
istihdam, barınma, iĢgücü, yaĢam tarzı, gelir ve eğitim düzeyleri, göç ettikleri yerle
halihazırdaki iliĢkileri vb. birçok değiĢken kullanılarak Konya‘ya gerçekleĢen göçün
temel dinamikleri, ortaya koyduğu ekonomik ve toplumsal sonuçlar çerçevesinde
incelenmiĢtir.
The research is about how the people who came in Konya in 1980 got used
to this city. When looked in respect of cause and effect, internal immigration may be
the best continuum to explain many aspects of our society‘s transformation in last 60
years. The immigration phenomenon and many other social, economical and cultural
continuums related to the immigration are important areas for academics interested
in liberal arts to make research, after all it is difficult to say that researches made
until today are satisfactory. As for available researches, they are more concentrated in metropolitan areas such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. In this study, it is aimed
that the immigration event, which undertakes a significant role in the analysis of
social, political, cultural, economical transformations in our country, is given an
analytical analysis in a specific area as Konya which draws attention with its unique
identity and urbanization, also aimed to research its similar and different dimensions
with the immigration in the country by using techniques as interview and public
survey. In this context, the basic dynamics of immigration to Konya is studied
regarding the economical and social results it brought about, by using variable
factors like the reason or reasons of immigration to Konya, preference for Konya
based on reasons, generally if they moved from city or countryside, which districts
they heavily populate, social, cultural, political preferences and expectations,
employment, housing, labour force, lifestyle, revenue and education levels, their
connections with the place they moved from, etc.
