Bu çalışmada 1980’den günümüze gayrisafi yurt içi hasılanın (GSYH)
sektörel yapısı, bu yapıdaki değişim ve imalat sanayiinin seçilmiş göstergelerle
değerlendirilmesine yer verilmiştir. Buna göre, GSYH içinde en büyük pay sanayi
sektörüne aitken, sektörün GSYH payı büyüme hızı istikrarsız bir seyir
göstermektedir. Çeşitli göstergeler açısından imalat sanayiinin yapısı
incelendiğinde ise, bazı göstergeler açısından olumlu, bazıları açısından ise
olumsuz gelişmeler göze çarpmaktadır. İmalat sanayiinde Ar-Ge ve yatırım
harcamaları, işyeri sayısı artarken, sabit sermaye yatırımı, katma değer artış
hızının yavaşlamış, dış ticaret haddi ve istihdam düşük oranda artmıştır.
In this study, from 1980 to the present, sectoral structure of gross
domestic product (GDP) of Turkey and changes in this structure are analyzed and
manufacturing industry is evaluated with selected indicators. The highest sectoral
share of GDP belongs to industrial sector but it is unstable. When the structure of
manufacturing industry is examined, it is seen that, there are positive results for
some indicators and negative results for some others. In manufacturing industry,
while R&D and investment spendings, number of business is increasing, the rate
of increase in fixed investment and value added is slow down. Foreign trade rate
and employment increased slowly.
