Akademik ortamda öğrencilerin yerine getirmesi gerekli görevleri
bulunmaktadır. Fakat öğrenciler yapması gereken bu görevleri genel olarak başka
bir zamanda yapmak üzere ötelemektedir. Yapılması gereken ve planlanan bu
görevlerin ileri bir zamana bırakılmasına akademik erteleme denilmektedir.
Akademik erteleme davranışının bireyde alışkanlık haline gelmesinin temelinde bu
nedenlerin zamanında tespit edilerek giderilmemesi yatmaktadır. Bu çalışmada
ortaokul öğrencilerinin akademik erteleme davranışı ölçeği geliştirilmesi
amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında,
Afyonkarahisar merkezde yer alan 350 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır.
Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Verileri elde edebilmek için 19
maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipinde ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Ölçek iki faktörlü olarak, 1.
faktörde (sorumsuzluk ve tercih etme) 0.564 - 0.780 arasında faktör yükleri olan 6
madde ve 2. faktörde (çevre ve hisler) 0.596 – 0.743 arasında faktör yükleri olan 13
maddeden oluşturulmuştur. Geliştirilen ölçeğin, faktörlerinin sırasıyla güvenirlik
anlamındaki cronbach alfa katsayıları 0.866 ve 0. 935 ve ölçeğin genel anlamdaki
cronbach alfa katsayısı 0.946 olarak hesaplanarak güvenilir olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In the academic environment, students have the duties to be fulfilled.
However, the students usually do these tasks to do at some other time. The
postponement of these tasks, which are planned and planned, is called academic
postponement. The reason behind the fact that academic procrastination is a habit in
the individual lies in the fact that these reasons are not determined in a timely
manner. The aim of this study is to improve the academic procrastination scale of
secondary school students. The study group consisted of 350 middle school students
in Afyonkarahisar city center in 2016-2017 academic year. General screening model
was used in the study. In order to obtain the data, a 5-point Likert-type scale
consisting of 19 items was developed. The scale was composed of 13 items with
factor loadings of 0.596 - 0.743 in 6 items with factor loadings of 0.564 - 0.780, and
factor 2 (environment and feelings) with a factor of two (factor 1). The cronbach
alpha coefficients of the developed scale were found to be reliable by calculating
cronbach alpha coefficients of 0.866 and 0. 935 respectively and the cronbach alpha
coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.946.
