Türkçe geçmişten bugüne kelime zenginliği ile yaşayarak gelmiştir. 12 asırlık birikime sahip olan Türkçe aynı zamanda birçok kola ayrılmıştır. Bu kollardan biri de Türkçenin Kuzey-doğu kolunu oluşturan Çağatay Türkçesidir. Ele alınan metin Çağatay Türkçesinin bütün dil özelliklerini yansıtan yazılı bir belgedir. İncelenen eser İsveç'te Lund Üniversitesinde bulunan, Gunnar Jarring Koleksiyonu Prov. 402 numarada kayıtlıdır. Eser gezi yazısı niteliğinde yazılmış olup kim tarafından yazıldığı bilinmemektedir. Metin bir gezi yazısı niteliği taşımasına karşın tasvirler oldukça azdır. Metin bu anlamda sade bir dile sahiptir. Mekke ve Medine şehirlerinde yer alan mekânlar da bu sade dille anlatılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümü fiil konusu etrafında şekillenmiştir. Çalışmada öncelikli olarak kök fiiller ses hususiyetlerine göre sınıflandırılmış ve ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Metinde tespit edilen türemiş fiiller de türeten eke göre sınıflandırılmış ve örnekleriyle incelenmiştir. Birleşik fiiller ise birleşik fiili oluşturan unsurların biçimsel özelliklerine göre sınıflandırılarak incelenmiştir. Fiiller, biçimsel olarak incelendikten sonra fiil kategorileri ve bu kategorilerle ilgili olan şahıs, çatı, zaman, kip ve kiplik, istem, soru, olumsuzluk konuları ele alınmıştır. Her ne kadar fiil olmasalar da fiil özelliğini tam anlamıyla kaybetmeyen sıfat-fiil, zarf-fiil ve isim-fiil kategorileri de çalışmada incelemeye dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmada ikinci bölüm olarak isim ve isim ile ilgili diğer kategoriler incelenmiştir. Yapıları bakımından isimler geniş bir çerçeve ile ele alındıktan sonra isimler tür bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. İsim ile ilgili olarak iyelik, çokluk, aitlik, durum bildirimleri ele alındıktan sonra sıfat, zamir, zarf gibi isim özelliği taşıyan görevli kelimeler incelenmiştir. Fiil ve isim ile ilgili incelemelerden sonra genel bir değerlendirme içeren sonuç bölümü çalışmada yer almaktadır. Tüm bu dil bilgisi incelemeleri yapıldıktan sonra Arap harfli 87 varaktan oluşan "Mekke Medine Ziyareti"nin transkripsiyonlu metni verilmiştir. The Turkish past has come to life today with word richness. Turkish, which has 12 centuries of accumulation, is divided into many branches at the same time. One of these is Chagatay Turkish, which forms the north-eastern branch of Turkish. The text is a written document that reflects all the language characteristics of Chagatay Turkish. The work studied is the Gunnar Jarring Collection in Lund, Sweden. It's registered at number 402. It is written in the nature of a work trip and it is not known who wrote it. Despite the fact that the text is a travel writing, the portrayal is very few. The text has a simple language in this sense. Places in the cities of Mecca and Medina, this plain dille is told. The first part of the work was shaped around the verb con- tent. In the study, primarily the root verbs were classified according to their voice characteristics and handled separately. Derived verbs detected in the mine were also classified according to the derived ek and examined with examples. Compounded verbs were classified according to the formal characteristics of the elements forming the compound verb. After verifying the verbs, the verb categories and the person, the roof, the time, the mode and the personality, the prompt, the question, the negativity issues related to these categories are discussed. Adjective-verb, adverb-verb and noun-verb categories that do not lose the verb in full, although they are verbs, are also included in the study. In the second part of the study, other categories related to name and name were examined. In terms of constructions, the names have been evaluated in terms of type after they have been covered with a broad framework. As soon as the possession, plurality, belonging, status declarations are taken into account in relation to the name, the official words such as adjectives, pronouns, and adverbs are examined. After the verbs and nouns are examined, the conclusion section which includes a general evaluation is included in the study. After all these linguistic studies were done, the transcriptional text of the "Mecca Madinah Visit" consisting of 87 poems in Arabic letters was given.
