Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir durum saptaması yapmaktır. Çalışmada
1982-2010 yılları arasında Nevşehir turizminin göstermiş olduğu
gelişme bazı parametreler açısından incelenmiştir. Nevşehir turizminin
önceki dönemlerde gözlenen gelişmenin incelenmesi, hem
mevcut sorunların incelenmesi ve çözüm önerileri getirilmesi hem
de bölgede daha sonra gerçekleştirilecek planlama ve yatırım çalışmalarına
yol gösterici olması açısından katkıda bulunması da
çalışmanın amaçları arasındadır. Çalışmada, öncelikle Nevşehir’in
turizm arzı değerlendirilmiş, daha sonra Nevşehir’in turizm talebi
incelenmiştir. Ören yerlerini ziyaret eden turistlere satılan bilet sayısı
ile konaklama istatistikleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current situation/status
of tourism in Nevşehir. In this study, the development of Nevşehir
tourism which has made progress between1982-2010 was examined
in terms of some statistical indicators. By examining the history
of tourism development in Nevşehir, it has been aimed to investigate
the current problems faced by the tourism industry and provide solutions to them and to lead the future planning and investment
activities which will be carried out in the region. In the study, first
of all tourism supply and demand of Nevşehir was examined. Then,
it was compared with accommodation statistics by evaluating the
number of tickets sold to tourists who visit the museums.
