Metrik uzayların birçok genelleştirilmiş hali vardır. Bunlardan bazıları; fuzzy metrik uzayı, soyut (konik) metrik uzay, K- metrik ve K- normlu uzay, menger uzay, dikdörtgen metrik uzay, dikdörtgensel konik metrik uzay. 2007 yılında Çinli matematikçiler Huang ve Zang 20. Yy. da tanımlanmış olan ve kullanılmış olan K-metrik ve K-normlu uzayların varlığından habersiz olarak konik metrik uzayları tanımladılar. Her ikisinde de reel sayılar kümesi yerine E Banach uzayını aldılar. Bununla birlikte Huang ve Zang daha da ilerisini yaparak dizilerin yakınsaklığını da tanımladılar. Bu yaklaşım tarzı konikin normal olmadığı durumlarda da bu uzayları araştırma imkanı verdiler. Bu durum akademik camiada büyük bir heyecan uyandırdı. Kısa bir zamanda bu konuyla ilgili altı yüzden fazla makalenin yayınlanması bu heyecanın en canlı örneğidir. Tezimiz beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm tezin giriş kısmından oluşmaktadır. Tezimizin ikinci bölümünde bazı temel kavramlara yer verdik. Üçüncü bölümde ise konik metrik uzayların tanımını yaparak konik metrik uzayların temel özelliklerini ele aldık. Dördüncü bölümde sabit nokta teoremlerini ele aldık. Son olarak beşinci bölümde ise sonuç ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.
There are many generalization form of metric spaces. Some of them are; fuzzy metric space, abstract (cone) metric space, K- metric space, rectangular metric spaces. In 2007, Chinese mathematicians Zang and Huang introduced the cone metric spaces as using the K- metric and K-normed which was defined and used in the 20th century. Both drave of reel number were replaced with E Banach space. Besides Huang and Zang defined the proximity of interior point by using the definition of E Banach space. So, that is provided to discovery the cone space without neecessary to the norm of cone space. This case aroused great excitement in the scholary community. In a short time the most vivid examples of this excitement that was published more than six hundred articles about this subject.The thesis organized as follows. Our thesis consists five sections. In the first part of this thesis, we have introduced some basic concept. In the second part, we discussed the structural properties of metric spaces by defining cone metric spaces. In the third section we discussed fixed point theorems. Finally, in the fourth and last section, conclusions and recommendations have been given.
