Güzel sanatlar fakültelerinin müzik bölümlerinde uzaktan eğitim sürecine ilişkin öğretim elemanlarının görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, güzel sanatlar müzik anabilim dallarında 2019-2020 bahar dönemini uzaktan eğitim ile yürüten öğretim elemanlarının bu eğitim öğretim sürecini değerlendirmelerini, tavsiyelerini saptamak ve yaşanan problemlerin çözümlenmesi konusunda öneriler geliştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye’deki üniversitelerin güzel sanatlar fakülteleri müzik anabilim dalları; örneklemi Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi, Erciyes Üniversitesi, Kırşehir Üniversitesi, Kocaeli Üniversitesi ve Akdeniz Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültelerinde görevli öğretim elemanları (n=10) oluşturmaktadır. Uzaktan eğitim ile müzik bölümü derslerini, öğrenme-öğretme süreci açısından değerlendirebilmek adına 8 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış gözlem formu aracılığıyla öğretim elemanlarının görüşleri toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler betimsel içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Müzik bölümü öğretim elemanlarıyla yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda; Web tabanlı uzaktan eğitimin uygulamalı derslerde yüz yüze eğitim kadar verimli olmadığı, dersler sırasında yaşanan bağlantı ve teknik sorunların eğitim sürecini olumsuz etkilediği, uzaktan eğitim sürecinin imkanı kısıtlı öğrenciler için fırsat eşitsizliği yarattığı, Pandemi sonrasındaki süreçte uygulamalı derslerin eğitimine yüz yüze devam etmek istedikleri sonuçlarına varılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to determine the evaluation and recommendations of the academic staff of the departments of fine arts and music, who are sonducting the 2019-2020 spring term with distance education and to develop suggestions for solving the problems experienced. The universe of the research for his purpose, the fine arts faculty of the music department of the universities in Turkey; the sample consists of lecturers (n=10) working art Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, erciyes University, Kırşehir University, Kocaeli University and Akdeniz University Faculty of Fine Arts. In order to evaluate the distance education and music department lessons in terms of the learning,teaching process, the opinions of the instructors were collected through a semi-structured observation form consisting of 8 questions. In line with the findings obtained from the interviews with the instructors of the music department; ıt has been concluded that web-based distance education is not as efficient as face-to-face education in applied courses, that the connection and technical problems experienced during the courses negatively affect the education process, that the distance education process creates inequality of opportunities and that they want to continue the education of applied courses face-toface in the post-pandemic period
