Bu çalışmanın amacı, hizmetkar liderlik algılamalarının tükenmişlik üzerindeki etkisinin analiz edilmesidir. Nevşehir ilinde faaliyet gösteren otel işletmelerinde çalışanlardan oluşan örneklemden anket tekniğiyle veri toplanmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Korelasyon analizi sonuçlarına göre; hizmetkar liderliğin alt boyutlarından duygusal destek ve iyileştirme ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Toplumsal değer yaratma ile duygusal tükenme arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı, diğer yandan duyarsızlaşma ile negatif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Benzer şekilde kavramsallaştırma ile duygusal tükenme arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı, duyarsızlaşma ile negatif yönlü bir ilişki, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Güçlendirme ile duygusal tükenme arasında negatif yönlü, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu ancak; duyarsızlaşma ile anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışanların gelişimi ve başarısına yardım etme ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif yönlü, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışanları her şeyin önüne koyma ile kişisel başarı arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunurken; duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma ile anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı ortaya konmuştur. Ahlaki davranma ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif yönlü, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre; ahlaki davranmanın duygusal tükenme üzerinde negatif bir etkiye sahip olduğu, ancak hizmetkar liderliğin diğer alt boyutlarının duygusal tükenme üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Duygusal destek ve iyileştirme ile ahlaki davranmanın duyarsızlaşma üzerinde negatif bir etkiye sahip olduğu, diğer alt boyutların duyarsızlaşma üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Güçlendirmenin ise kişisel başarı üzerinde pozitif bir etkiye sahip olduğu, ancak diğer alt boyutların kişisel başarı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı araştırma bulguları arasında yer almaktadır.
The aim of the study is to determine the effect of perceptions of servant leadership on burnout. The sample consists of employees working in hotel businesses in Nevşehir. Data were gathered and assessed through questionnaires. The results of the correlation analysis demonstrated that there was a negative relationship between servant leadership and emotional healing, emotional exhaustion and depersonalization sub dimensions of servant leadership; there was a positive relationship between servant leadership and personal accomplishment sub dimensions of servant leadership. Besides, the findings showed that there was no significant relationship between creating value for community and emotional exhaustion, there was a significant and negative relationship between creating value for community and depersonalization, there was a positive relationship between creating value for community and personal accomplishment. Similarly, the results expressed that there was no significant relationship between conceptual skills and emotional exhaustion, there was a negative relationship between conceptual skills and depersonalization, there was a positive relationship between conceptual skills and personal accomplishment. According to the results of the research, there was a negative relationship between empowerment and emotional exhaustion, there was a positive relationship between empowerment and personal accomplishment; but there was no significant relationship between empowerment and depersonalization. Also, the research concluded that there was a negative relationship between helping employees grow and succeed and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization; but there was a positive relationship between helping employees grow and succeed and personal accomplishment. The results indicated that there was a positive relationship between putting employees first and personal accomplishment, there was no significant relationship between putting employees first and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. Finally, the findings inferred that there was a negative relationship between behaving ethically and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, there was a positive relationship between behaving ethically and personal accomplishment. The results of the regression analysis indicated that behaving ethically had a negative effect on emotional exhaustion and other sub dimensions of servant leadership had no significant effect on emotional exhaustion. On the other hand, the results showed that emotional healing and behaving ethically had a negative effect on depersonalization, and other sub dimensions had no significant effect on depersonalization. According to the findings of the research, empowerment had a positive effect on personal accomplishment, and other sub dimensions had no significant effect on personal accomplishment.
