Bu çalışmada Ceyhan Nehri Havzası'nda yer alan 7 gölün Chironomidae larva çeşitliliğinin ve mevsimsel dağılımlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla Kasım 2014 ve Ağustos 2015 tarihleri arasında belirlenen istasyonlardan Chironomidae örnekleri alınmıştır. Çalışma sonunda Chironomidae'ye ait 3 alt familyadan toplam 46 tür tespit edilmiştir. Her türün çalışma alanındaki dağılımları ve m2'deki birey sayıları belirlenmiştir. Buna göre Cricotopus sylvestris dominant tür olarak belirlenmiştir. Bunu sırasıyla Dicrotendipes simpsoni, Dicrotendipes fumidus, Tanytarsus gregarius, Polypedilum nubifer ve Chironomus thummi türü takip etmiştir. En fazla sayıda Chironomid larvası ilkbahar mevsiminde, en az sayı ise yaz mevsiminde kaydedilmiştir.
In this study, Chironomidae fauna of seven lakes in Ceyhan river basin was investigated between September 2014 and August 2015. During the study, Chironomid larvae samples were collected seasonally from seven lakes in Ceyhan river basin. A total of 46 species were identified with 3 subfamily belonging to Chironomidae. Distribution in study are individual number in m2 of each species were determined species according to Cricotopus sylvestris was determined as dominant species and followed by Dicrotendipes simpsoni, Dicrotendipes fumidus, Tanytarsus gregarius, Polypedilum nubifer and Chironomus thummi. The maximum number of the Chironomid larva was recorced in spring while the minimum Chironomid larva was recorded in Summer.
