Tanzimat' tan Cumhuriyet' e Leyla Saz ve eserlerinin sosyolojik analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'ndan Cumhuriyet'e geçiş döneminde Leyla Saz tarafından yazılmış anı, şiir, beste, şarkı türleri, kendilerini ortaya çıkaran kadın anlatıcısı açısından incelenmektedir. Kadınlar çoğunlukla kendilerini anlatan erkekler tarafından değerlendirilmiş ve evinin hanımı ve çocuklarının annesi olarak nitelendirilerek bu vasfının dışında pek konumlandırılmamıştır. İnsanların ve toplumların varlığının yazılı bir şekilde ifadesi olan yazın aracılığıyla, kadın kalemler kendilerine atfedilen özelliklerin dışında farklı görevlerinin de olabileceğini göstermiş ve var olabilme mücadelesini başlatmışlardır. Leyla Saz, bir kadın kalem olarak, kadınlığın kaderini yazılı hale getirmiş, yaşadığı dönemlere ait şahit olduğu gerçekliklere kendi deyimiyle hiç mübalağa katmadan, olduğu gibi anlatmış ve kapalı bir dünya olan haremin sır perdesini aralayarak gün yüzüne çıkarmıştır. Yaşadığı saray ortamı, sahip olduğu yeteneklerin ortaya çıkmasına ve kendisini geliştirmesine olanak tanımış ve aynı ortamda bulunduğu müderrislerden istifade etmekten hiç çekinmeden musiki dersi alıp yabancı dilini geliştirmiştir. Üst düzey bir eğitim alan, saray yaşamına ve saray diline hakim olan Leyla saz halkla kaynaşmış ve onlardan üstün olduğu durum ve konumlarda hep alçakgönüllü davranmıştır. Bu özelliği ile saraylı bir yaşam sürüp halka yakın bir üslup geliştirmiştir. Yazdığı eserlerle yaşadığı döneme ayna tutan bu Kadın Kalemin ortaya çıkardığı anı, şiir, şarkı ve besteler, sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada; Leyla Saz, yaşadığı toplumdan etkilenmiş mi, yoksa yazdığı eserleriyle toplumu mu etkilemiş sorusuna cevap aranarak ele alınmıştır. Bu sorunun cevabı aranırken literatür taraması yapılarak Leyla Saz'ın yazmış olduğu eserler ve Leyla Saz'a dair yazılanlar tek tek incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada Leyla Saz'ın içinde bulunduğu toplumun kendisini etkilediğini, bunu eserlerine yansıttığını ve icra ettiği eserlerle toplumu etkilediğini savunuyorum. Bu araştırma ile bunu ortaya koymaya çalıştım.

In this work the memories, poems, tunes and song types done by Leyla Saz during the period from Ottoman Empire to Turkish Republic were analylised. Women were mostly evaluated by men who described them and seemed as the lady of their home and the mother of their children and didn?t position accept these roles. They showed they had any other charateristics beside the ones deemed to them with the writings that is the written tool of the existence of humanity and societies and they started a struggle for existence. Leyla Saz as a woman; gave a voice of the destiny of being a woman, told the events she lived in her period without exaggeration as what it was actually as she said and buoyed a subject, like opening the secret curtain, which was intrugued like a closed world. The palace atmoshpere she lived gave her a chance exist her talents those she also had and develop herself,and also she was educated in music and foreign language by the tutors without any hesitage. Leyla Saz who was educated an upper level, well-done in palace life and language hit off with public and had been lovely to them in the situations she was at an upper level. With this character she lived a palace life and developed a style close to public. The poems, memories, songs and composes produced by this Female Pencil who clarified the period she lived , were analysed with a sociological view. It was discussed looking for an answer to the question is Leyla Saz was affected from the society or she affected the society with her products. While looking for an answer to this question a literatural research was done and the writings about her were analysed one by one. This research showed the society in which Leyla Saz lived affected her and she reflected these to her products, and she advocated that she affected the society with the performances she produced. I put forth this for consideration.
