Genelleştirilmiş eşit genişlikli ve modifiye edilmiş korteweg-de vries denklemlerinin petrov-galerkin yöntemi ile sayısal çözümleri

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, genelleştirilmiş eşit genişlikli ve modifiye edilmiş Korteweg-de Vries denklemlerinin sayısal çözümleri B-spline fonksiyonlar yardımıyla Petrov-Galerkin sonlu elemanlar yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Bu tez dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin birinci bölümünde, Petrov-Galerkin yöntemi, B-spline fonksiyonlar, genelleştirilmiş eşit genişlikli (GEW) denklem ve modifiye edilmiş Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) denklemi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde, GEW denkleminin sayısal çözümleri Petrov-Galerkin yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde, mKdV denkleminin sayısal çözümleri Petrov-Galerkin yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Tezin dördüncü bölümünde ise, elde edilen sayısal değerlerle ilgili sonuç ve öneriler verilmiştir.

In this thesis, numerical solutions of the generalised equal width and modified Korteweg-de Vries equations are obtained by using the Petrov-Galerkin finite element method with the help of B-spline functions. This thesis consists of four chapters. In the first part of the thesis, Petrov-Galerkin method, B-spline functions, generalised equal width (GEW) equation and modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation are given. In the second part of the thesis, numerical solutions of the GEW equation are obtained using the Petrov-Galerkin method. In the third part of the thesis, numerical solutions of the mKdV equation are obtained using the Petrov-Galerkin method. In the fourth part of the thesis, conclusions and recommendations related to the obtained numerical values are given.
