Nevşehir ili Kozaklı ilçesi yer adları üzerine halk bilimsel bir inceleme

Abstract

Toplumların nesneleri algılama, anlamlandırma ve adlandırmaları kültürel-zihinsel ve tarihsel geçmişlerinin birer yansımaları olarak görülebilir. Yaşanılan mekânın kimlikli bir hale dönüşümünü gerçekleştiren temel unsurların başında dil ve kültür gelmektedir. Toplumun zihinsel var oluşunun mekâna yüklediği anlam mutlak varlığının da göstergelerini meydana getirir. Bu eksende ad bilimi alanının alt sınıflandırmasında incelenen ve halk biliminin de inceleme alanı içinde bulunan yer ad bilimi çalışmaları önemli görünmektedir. "Kozaklı İlçesi Yer Adları Üzerine Halk Bilimsel Bir İnceleme" başlığını taşıyan bu çalışma, alandan tespit edilen verilerin sınıflandırılıp incelenmesine dayalı olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Kozaklı özelinde daha önce yer adlarına yönelik çalışmanın yapılmamış olması tezin özgünlüğü açısından önemlidir. Tezin temel amacı, Kozaklı merkez olmak üzere bahsedilen ilçeye bağlı yerleşim yerlerindeki yer ve mevki adlarını tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilçe kapsamındaki hemen hemen tüm yer adları hakkında bilgiler toplanmıştır. İlçe yerleşim alanlarının 3'ü dışında, 4 ana Türkmen Yörük aşiretinin Kozaklı yöresine ayrı ayrı alanlara obalar halinde gelmiştir. Çalışmada söz konusu toplulukların bölgeye yerleştikleri zaman ve iskân dönemleri hakkında evkaf defterinden bilgiler aktarılarak incelemeye dâhil edilmiştir. Kozaklı'daki diğer üç yerleşim alanının ise yakın çevrelerdeki başkaca Türk Oğuz boyu aşiretlerinden az sayıda kopup gelen göçlerle kurulduğu ve bu yerleşim alanlarına kendi oba önderlerinin ad verdiği bilgisi kaynaklarıyla gösterilmiştir. Dolayısıyla incelemede bölgeye yerleşen Türk topluluklarının tarihi belgelerdeki yeri de göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. İnceleme çerçevesinde, Türk dilinin bir unsuru olan Kozaklı yer adları, kültürel temeli, anlamı ve anlatılarla verilmeye çalışılmıştır. İncelemenin temel yöntemi bağlam merkezli halk bilim kuramlarından performans ve işlevsel teorilerle oluşturulmuştur. Sonuçta halk bilim ve yer adları konusunda Kozaklı örneği üzerinden kültürel işlevsel veriler analiz edilmiştir.

The societies' perception, interpretation, and naming of objects can be seen as a reflection of their cultural-mental and historical backgrounds. Language and culture are at the forefront of the basic elements that transform the living space into an identity one. The meaning that the mental existence of the society ascribes to the space also creates the indicators of its absolute existence. In this direction toponomy studies, which are examined in the sub-classification of the field of onomastics, and which are also within the field of study of folklore, are considered important. This thesis, titled "A Folk Scientific Study on the Place-Names of Kozaklı District" was put forward based on the classification and analysis of the data determined from the area. It is essential for the originality of the thesis that no work has been done on place names for Kozaklı before. The main purpose of the thesis is to determine the names of the places and places in the settlements of the mentioned district, including the center of Kozaklı. Under this purpose, information about almost all place names in the district was collected. Apart from 3 of the district settlement areas, 4 main Turkmen Yörük tribes came to Kozaklı region as obas to separate areas. In the study, information about the time and settlement periods of the communities in question was included in the study by transferring information from the foundation ledgers. The information that the other three settlements in Kozaklı were established with the migrations of a small number of other Turkish Oghuz tribes in the close vicinity and that these settlements were named by their own oba leaders has been shown by the sources. Therefore, the place of Turkish communities settled in the region in historical documents was also taken into consideration in the study. Within the framework of the analysis, Kozaklı place names, which are an element of the Turkish language, have been tried to be given with their cultural basis, meaning and narratives. The essential method of the examination was formed with performance and functional theories from context- centered folklore theories. As a result, cultural functional data on folklore and place names were analyzed through the Kozaklı example.
