Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi kampüs bilgi sisteminin web tabanlı tasarımı

Abstract

Günümüzde gelişen bilgi teknolojilerinin sağladığı imkânlar dâhilinde ihtiyaç duyulan bilgiler doğru ve güncel bir şekilde depolanmaktadır. Ayrıca bu verilerin farklı verilerle ilişkilendirilip erişimi sağlanabilmektedir. Bilgi teknolojilerinin en etkin şekilde kullanılabileceği alanlardan biri de eğitim kurumlarıdır. Hâlihazırda var olan bilgilerin derlenip güncelleştirilerek yeni bilgilerin oluşturulması bu kurumların yenileşmesi ve gelişimi açısından kaçınılmaz bir gerçektir. Bu bağlamda eğitim kurumlarının başında gelen üniversitelerin bilgi teknolojilerinin aktivasyonunu sağlamaları son derece önemlidir. Bu kapsamda Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Kampüs Bilgi Sistemi Tasarımı için ArcGIS programı kullanılmıştır. Üniversiteye ait sözel ve sayısal verilerin bir araya getirilerek bilgisayar ortamında depolanması, sorgulanması, analiz edilmesi ve kullanıcılara rapor halinde çıktı sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Konuyla ilgili temel kavramlar ele alınmış ve Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemlerinin kullanım aşamalarına değinilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda üniversitenin Kampüs Bilgi Sistemi Tasarımından nasıl yararlanılabileceği açıklanmış, konuyla ilgili benzer çalışmalara yer verilmiştir. Tasarımı yapılıp belirli görseller ile desteklenen sistem, üniversitede bulunan akademik ve idari personellerin yanı sıra öğrenciler ve kampüs alanı içerisindeki birimler hakkında bilgi almak isteyen kullanıcılara rehber olabilecektir. Bunun yanı sıra tasarlanan bilgi sistemi web ortamında yayınlanmış olup süreç içinde güncellenebilecektir.

Today, the information needed is stored in an accurate and up-to-date manner within the possibilities provided by the developing information technologies. In addition, these data can be associated with different data and accessed. One of the areas where information technologies can be used most effectively is educational institutions. Compiling and updating existing information and creating new information is an inevitable reality for the renewal and development of these institutions. In this context, it is extremely important that universities, which are at the forefront of educational institutions, ensure the activation of information technologies. In this context, ArcGIS program was used for NevşehirHacıBektaşVeli University Campus Information System Design. It is aimed to store, query and analyze the verbal and numerical data of the university in a computer environment by bringing together and presenting output in the form of a report to the users. The basic concepts related to the subject are discussed and the usage stages of Geographic Information Systems are mentioned. As a result of the study, it was explained how the university could benefit from the Campus Information System Design, and similar studies on the subject were included. The system, which is designed and supported with certain visuals, will be a guide for the academic and administrative staff at the university, as well as for the users who want to get information about the students and the units in the campus area. In addition, the designed information system will be published on the web and will be able to respond to all necessary needs.
