Futbolda puan ve eleme usulüne göre oynanan karşılaşmalarda ev sahibi olmak bir avantaj mıdır? 2018-2019 şampiyonlar ligi analizi

Abstract

Futbolda ev sahibi olmak önemli bir avantajdır, bu avantajın lig usulüne ve elemeli olarak oynanan karşılaşmalarda ise oyun anlayışı ve sonuca gitme noktasında farklılık gösterip göstermediği araştırma konusudur. Bu noktada çalışmanın amacı 2018-19 Şampiyonlar Liginde takımlarının ev sahibi olma avantajlarını hangi oranda kullanabildiklerinin farklı kriterler üzerinden incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklem grubunu 2018-19 sezonunda oynanan 124 müsabaka oluşturmaktadır. Oynanan müsabakalara ait görüntüler UEFA resmi sitesinden elde edilirken, ayrıca Şampiyonlar ligine ait maç analizlerini açık erişimde sunan Soccer-Stats sitesinden de faydalanılmıştır. Müsabakalara ait veriler iki uzman eşliğinde belirlenen kriterlere göre gruplara ayrıştırılmıştır. Gruplandırmada ev sahibi takımların ve deplasman takımlarının kazandığı, berabere kaldığı ve kaybettiği maçlar, kazandıkları toplam puan, maçın bölümlerinde kazandıkları gol dağılımları üzerinden yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere ait yüzde (%) ve frekans (f) dağılımları verilmiştir. Elde edilen bilgilere göre grup aşamasında ev sahibi takımlar toplam puanın %54,17 sini kazanırken, deplasman takımları toplam puanın sadece %37,30 ünü kazanabilmiştir. Elemeli olarak oynanan karşılaşmalarda ise ev sahibi takımlar toplamda maçların %46,42 sini kazanırken, deplasman takımları %42,85 ini kazanmışlardır. Maçların %10,73 ü ise beraberlikle sonuçlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, grup aşamasında ev sahibi olma avantajı önemli derecede etkili olurken, elemeli olarak oynanan müsabakalarda ev sahibi olmanın sonuçlar üzerinde belirgin bir etkisinin olmadığı görülmektedir. Özellikle turnuva şeklinde puan ve eleme olarak iki aşamalı oynanan turnuvalarda takımların uyguladığı stratejilerin teknik ve taktik yönden analizinin yapılması maçların kazanılması açısından önem arz etmektedir.

It is an important advantage to be home in football, it is the subject of research whether this advantage differs in terms of league approach and outcome in league-style and elimination matches. the aim of the study is to examine the extent to which the teams can take advantage of the hosts in the 2018-19 Champions League through different criteria. The sample group of the study consists of 124 competitions played at UEFA Champions Leauge in 2018-19 season. The images of the competitions played are obtained from the official UEFA website, Soccer Stats also provides open access to the Champions League match analysis. Match data of the competitions played obtained from the official website of UEFA and the broadcaster. The data of the competitions were divided into groups according to the criteria determined by two experts. Grouping home teams and away teams won, draw and lost matches, total points of won, the distribution of goals in the parts of the match was made. Percent (%) and frequency (f) distributions of the obtained data are given. According to the information obtained in the group stage, the host teams gained %54,17 of the total score, away teams only gained %37,30 of the total score. In elimination matches home teams won %46,42 of all matches, while away teams won %42,85. %10,73 of the matches resulted in draw. As a result, the advantage of being a host in the group stage was significantly effective, it is seen that being a host does not have a significant effect on the results in the competitions played elemination games. Especially in tournaments in the form of two-stage tournaments as points and elemination the technical and tactical analysis of the strategies applied by the teams is important for winning the matches.
