İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi’nin İsmâ‘îl Rusûhî-i Ankaravî’ye atfedilen bir eseri: Tuhfetü’l-Berere

Abstract

Klasik Türk edebiyatında müellifi bilinmeyen veya yanlış müellife atfedilen pek çok eserin bulunduğu araştırmacıların malumudur. Bu eserlerin kime ait olduğunun bilinmemesinin veya yanlış bilinmesinin çeşitli sebepleri vardır. Bu sebeplerden birisi de müellifi muğlak eserlerin farklı nedenlerle daha fazla şöhret sahibi birine yakıştırılarak atfedilmesidir. Benzer bir sorunun bulunduğu düşünülen eserlerden biri de Tuhfetü’l-Berere’dir. Mevlânâ’nın Mesnevî’sinden bazı beyitlerin seçilerek Türkçe, Arapça ve Farsça olarak açıklandığı ve menkıbelerin yer verildiği bu eserin müellifi, bugüne kadar yapılan çalışmalarda İsmâ‘îl Rusûhî-i Ankaravî olarak gösterilmiştir. Hâlbuki 17. yüzyılda Mimar Acem Tekkesi’nin Halvetî şeyhi olan ve aynı zamanda Mevlevilikten de şeyhlik icazeti alan İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi’nin bazı eserleri ve Tuhfetü’l- Berere’nin ortaya çıkan iki farklı nüshası, eserin Rusûhî-i Ankaravî’ye değil İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi’ye ait olduğu neticesini vermektedir. Bu durum açıklığa kavuşturulmadan önce Klasik Türk edebiyatında bazı eserlerin yanlış müelliflere atfedilme sebepleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Ardından inceleme konusu eserin müellifinin bu sebeplerden hangisine veya hangilerine binaen yanlış bildirildiği ve bu yanlışlığın ne şekilde devam ettirildiği ortaya konmuştur. Devamında eserin neden Rusûhî-i Ankaravî’ye ait olamayacağı belirtilerek İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi’ye aidiyetini gösteren hususlar değerlendirilmiştir. Eserin müellifine dair karışıklık çözüldükten sonra Tuhfetü’l-Berere’deki Türkçe manzum ve mensur metinler şekil ve muhteva bakımından tanıtılmış ve çalışmanın sonuna eserden örnekler ilave edilmiştir. Böylelikle bu çalışmada Tuhfetü’l-Berere’nin ve yazarının edebiyat tarihindeki yerine dair söz konusu hatalar giderilmiş ve doğrular ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

It is known by researchers that there are many works in classical Turkish literature whose author is unknown or wrongly attributed. There are various reasons why these works are not known to whom they actually belong or are misunderstood. One of these reasons is that ambiguous works are attributed to someone who is more famous for different reasons. One of the works thought to have a similar problem is Tuhfetü’l-Berere. The author of Tuhfetü’l-Berere, in which some couplets from Mevlânâ’s Mesnevî are selected and explained in Turkish, Arabic and Persian and the stories are included, has been shown as İsmâ‘îl Rusûhî-i Ankaravî in the studies done so far. However, some of the works of İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi, who was the Halveti sheikh of the Mimar Acem Tekke in the 17th century and who also received the sheikh’s license from the Mevlevi and two different copies of Tuhfetü’l-Berere show that the work was not attributed to Rusûhî-i Ankaravî, but to İsmâ‘îl Habîbî. Before this situation is clarified, the reasons why some works in Classical Turkish literature are attributed to wrong authors are emphasized. Then, it was revealed that the author of the work examined was misreported based on which of these reasons and how this mistake was continued. Afterwards, it was stated why the work could not belong to Rusûhî-i Ankaravî, and the issues showing its belonging to İsmâ‘îl Habîbî Efendi were evaluated. After the confusion about the author of the work was resolved, the Turkish verse and prose texts in Tuhfetü’l-Berere were introduced in terms of form and content, and examples from the work were added at the end of the study. Thus, in this study, the errors in question about the place of Tuhfetü’l-Berere and its author in the history of literature have been eliminated and the truth has been tried to be revealed.
