In this study we intend to analyze the reasons for enrolling as a member and continuing as a member of associates of private sport enterprises that placed in Ankara. Five hundred participants who are from private sport enterprises participated to this study. While collecting data, required raw that in accordance with the aims of this study is get out of the written sources, using these data a measurement instrument is developed. For analyzing of data which showed abnormal distribution, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallish (ANOWA) tests as nonparametric tests are used. To compare the questions about enrolling as a member and continuing as a member Wilcoxon Compare Test is used. Margin of the error of this study is accepted as 0,05.

As a result; the main reason to enroll as a member of private sport enterprises is ―to make exercise‖. The secondary reason to enroll as a member and continue as a member of a private sport enterprise is ―To develop the exercises‖. The reason called ‗‗To Acquire Sporting Habit‘‘ is the secondary reason for enrolling as a member and also tertiary reason for continuing as a member. |
