Son yıllarda, dünya üzerinde elektrik enerjisine olan talep günden güne artmıştır. Yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından birisi olan rüzgâr enerjisi, elektrik üretiminde en yüksek büyüme oranına sahiptir. Rüzgâr türbini, rüzgâr enerjisinde var olan kinetik enerjiyi, elektrik enerjisine dönüştürür. Rüzgâr türbinleri sabit ve değişken hızlı olmak üzere iki çeşittir. Bu kinetik enerjinin rüzgâr enerjisinde daha verimli kullanılabilmesi için değişken hızlı rüzgâr türbinleri daha çok tercih edilmektedir. Çift Beslemeli Asenkron Generatörlerin (ÇBAG), değişken hızlı ve büyük güçlü rüzgâr türbinlerinde kullanımı yaygındır. Bu tez çalışmasında ÇBAG tabanlı rüzgâr türbin sisteminin yapısı ve kontrolü incelenmiştir. ÇBAG tabanlı rüzgâr türbin sistemi çift yönlü enerji akışına olanak sağlayabilmesinden dolayı arka arkaya bağlı iki adet dönüştürücüden oluşmaktadır. Dönüştürücünün kontrolü için Oransal- İntegral (PI) kullanılarak Yapay Sinir Ağları (YSA) ve Uyarlamalı Ağ Tabanlı Bulanık Çıkarım Sistemi (ANFIS) için veri seti elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veri seti ile YSA ve ANFIS' in eğitimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Aynı zamanda, elde edilen en iyi değerler ile sistem modellenmiş ve rüzgâr türbin sistemine entegrasyonu yapılmıştır. ÇBAG tabanlı rüzgâr türbin sistemi MATLAB/ Simulink ortamında modellenmiştir. YSA ve ANFIS kullanılarak, ÇBAG tabanlı rüzgâr türbin sisteminin sırasıyla aktif güç, reaktif güç ve DA bara gerilim değerleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Karşılaştırma sonucunda YSA kullanılarak tasarlanan sistemin daha iyi bir performans gösterdiği gözlemlenmiştir.
In recent years, the demand for electrical energy in the world has increased day by day. Wind energy, one of the renewable energy sources, has the highest growth rate in electricity production. The wind turbine converts from the kinetic energy of the wind energy to electrical energy. There are two types of wind turbines, fixed and variable speed. Variable speed wind turbines are more preferred in order to use this kinetic energy in wind energy more efficiently. Double Feed Induction Generators (DFIGs) are widely used in variable speed and large power wind turbines. In this thesis, the control and the structure of the wind turbine system based on DFIG are examined. The wind turbine system based on DFIG consists of two converters connected back-to-back because it allows bidirectional energy flow. The data set for Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Adaptive Network Based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) are obtained by using Proportional-Integral (PI) for the control of the converter. The training of ANN and ANFIS are carried out with the obtained data set. At the same time, the system is modeled with the best values obtained and integrated into the wind turbine system. The wind turbine system based on DFIG is modeled in MATLAB/Simulink environment. Different membership functions were simulated for ANN and ANFIS, and the membership function with the best error value was used in system modeling. The active power, reactive power and DC bus voltage values of the wind turbine system based on DFIG are compared by using ANN and ANFIS, respectively. As a result of the comparison, it is observed that the system designed using ANN performed better.
