Nevşehir İlinde Patates (solanum tuberasum l. (1753)) Yetiştiriciliğinin Ekolojik ve Sosyo-Ekonomik Bakımdan Araştırıllması

Abstract

This thesis study was carried out to determine up to from soil to harvest, from storage to marketing to solve the socio-economic status and problems of potato cultivation enterprises in Nevşehir province. The main material of the study consisted of data collected by face-to-face survey method consisting of 156 enterprises and 62 questions in potato cultivation in Nevşehir provinces and districts. According to the results of the research, there was no statistically significant relationship between educational status and cooperative membership, fertilization and plant nutrition, potato harvest time. However, a statistically significant relationship was found between education level and seed preference, government support in potato production, age of producers, good agricultural practices and organic farming practices. It was found that 64.7% of the farmers were in the 30-50 age group, 48.7% of the producers were primary school graduates, 97.4% of the total working population was male and 1.9% was female. 38.5% of the agricultural income of the surveyed enterprises is in the range of 3-5 thousand TL, 46.8% of the total enterprises stated that they produce potatoes in the land 11-20. Also. 65.4% of the enterprises were using imported seeds. 76.3% of the surveyed enterprises stated that they did not receive government support for potato production and 64.7% stated that the government's incentives for potato production were not sufficient. Bu tez çalışmasında, Nevşehir ilinde patates (Solanum tuberasum L.) yetiştiriciliği yapan işletmelerin ekonomik analizinin yapılması, patates yetiştiriciliğinde topraktan hasata, depodan pazarlamaya kadar olan süreçte görülen sorunların saptanması ve çözüm önerilerinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın ana materyalini Nevşehir il ve ilçelerinde patates yetiştiriciliği yapan 156 işletme ile 62 sorudan oluşan yüz yüze anket yöntemiyle toplanmış veriler oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre eğitim durumları ile tarım kredi kooperatife üyelik, gübreleme ve bitki besleme, patateste hasat zamanı karşılaştırıldığında aralarında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Eğitim durumları ile patateste tohum tercihi, devletin patates üretiminde devlet desteği, yaş, iyi tarım, organik tarım uygulamaları karşılaştırıldığında ise aralarında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. İncelenen işletmelerde çiftçilerin %64.7'si 30-50 yaş aralığındadır. İncelenen işletmelerin %48.7 'si ilkokul mezunudur. Toplam işletme nüfusunun %97.4'ü erkek, %1.9'u kadındır. İncelenen işletmelerin tarımsal gelirleri %38.5'i 3-5 bin TL olduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Toplam işletmelerde %46.8'i 11-20 da arazide patates üretimi yaptıklarını belirtmişlerdir. İşletmelerde %65.4'ü ithal tohum kullandıklarını saptanmıştır. İncelenen işletmelerde %76.3'ü patates üretiminde devlet desteği almadıklarını, %64.7'si devletin patates üretiminde teşviklerin yeterli olmadığını belirtmişlerdir.
