İşgörenlerde etik tutum ve davranışların oluşmasında örgütsel vatandaşlığın rolü: Konaklama işletmelerinde bir uygulama

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Nevşehir ilinde faaliyet gösteren üç, dört ve beş yıldızlı konaklama işletmelerinde istihdam edilen işgörenlere ilişkin etik tutum ve davranışların ölçülmesi ve söz konusu etik tutum ve davranışların oluşmasında örgütsel vatandaşlığın rolünün ne derece etkisinin olduğunun belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla Nevşehir ili merkez ilçelerinde faaliyet gösteren üç, dört ve beş yıldızlı konaklama işletmelerinde anket tekniği aracılığıyla veriler toplanmıştır. Anket formunda katılımcıların demografik özelliklerine, turizm sektöründe çalışma sürelerine ve iş memnuniyetlerine ilişkin sorular bulunmaktadır. Yapılan anket çalışması sonucunda elde edilen veriler, SPSS 20.0 programında frekans, aritmetik ortalama ve yüzde dağılımları hesaplanmış, değişkenler arasındaki ilişki incelenirken korelasyon ve regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Uygulanan bu analizlere göre, araştırma örneklemini oluşturan konaklama işletmelerindeki işgörenlerin etik tutum ve davranışları ile örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Yani işgörenlerin örgütsel vatandaşlık düzeyi arttıkça etik tutum ve davranışlarının da artacağı anlaşılmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to measure the ethical attitudes and behaviours regarding the employees who are employed in three, four and five-star accommodation businesses in the province of Nevşehir and to determine the extent of the effective role of the organizational citizenship in the formation of these ethical attitudes and behaviours. To this end, the date has been collected through the survey technique in the three, four and fivestar accommodation businesses located in central districts of Nevşehir province. There are questions in the survey about the participants’ demographic characteristics, their working periods in tourism sector and their work satisfaction. The frequency, arithmetic average and the percentage distributions of the date collected from the survey results has been calculated in SPSS 20.0 programme and the correlation and regression analysis is employed to observe the relationship between variables. According to these analyses, a positive and meaningful relationship is found out between the ethical attitudes and behaviours of the employees from accommodation businesses and organizational citizenship behaviour, which is constituing the research sample of this study. In other words, it is concluded that the more the degree of the organizational citizenship of the employees arises, the more their ethical attitudes and behaviours will increase
