Veda hutbesinde evrensel ilkeler

Abstract

Hz. Peygamber, hayatının sonlarında Veda Haccında Arafat meydanında insanlara bir hutbe irad etmiştir. Bu hutbede bütün insanlığa çok önemli evrensel ilkeler sunmuştur. Bu ilkeler, âdeta “İnsan Hakları Evrensel Beyannamesi” niteliğini taşımaktadır. Allah Resulünün 1400 küsur yıl önce beyan ettiği bu değerle-re Batı Dünyası ancak 1948 yılında yayınlanan “İnsan Hakları Evrensel Beyannamesi” ile yeni ulaşabilmiştir. Hz. Peygamber’in insanlığa sunmuş olduğu bu ilkelerin iyi anlaşılması ve harfiyen uygulanması hayati önem arz etmektedir. Zira insanlığın huzur ve mutluluğu bu ilkelerin uygulanmasına bağlıdır.

The Prophet Muhammad preached a sermon in the end of the his life at Arafat square in the Farewell Pilgrimage. He presented very important universal principles to all mankind with this sermon. These principles are seen as “universal declaration of human rights.” The western world could reach these principles declared approximately 1400 years ago by the Prophet Muhammad with the Universal Declaration of human rights published in 1948. The understanding and implementation of these principles that were presented to humanity by the Prophet Muhammad is of vital importance. For this reason, the peace and happiness of mankind depends on the application of these principles
