Termal turizm işletmelerinde sunulan sağlık ve tedavi hizmetleri

Abstract

İnsanları seyahate yönelten faktörlerin en önemlilerinden biri de sağlıktır. Sağlıkla ilgili motifler, sağlığın insan yaşamındaki önemi nedeniyle ayrı bir önem kazanmaktadır. Sağlık ve güzellik kaygıları, insanların doğal yapısından kaynaklanan somut gerçeklerdir. İnsanları termal su kaynaklarının bulunduğu merkezlere yönelten temel dürtü, bu kaygının verdiği bilinçtir. Bu bilinçle insanların, tarihin çok eski dönemlerinden beri termal su kaynaklarının bulunduğu yerlere seyahat ettikleri görülmektedir. Günümüzde insanlar, sağlıklarında düzenli bir gelişme sağlamayı amaçlarken aynı zamanda tatil ihtiyacını da karşılamak istemektedirler. Bu doğrultuda sağlık ve turizmin bir araya gelmesiyle “Termal Turizm” olarak adlandırılan bir turizm türü ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu turizm türüne hizmet eden işletmelere ise termal turizm işletmeleri adı verilmektedir. Çeşitli termal sular, termal merkezler ve bu merkezler üzerinde kurulan termal turizm işletmeleri, termal turizmin altyapısını oluşturmaktadır. Bu işletmelerde verilen temel hizmetler ise sağlık ve tedavi hizmetleridir. Bu çalışmada termal turizm işletmeleri bünyesinde yer alan termal tedavi merkezlerinde sunulan sağlık ve tedavi hizmetleri ile ilgili bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

One of the most important factors that lead people traveling is health. Health-related motives gain a particular importance due to its importance in the human life of health. Health and beauty concerns are concrete facts which arising from people's natural structure. Basic motive that leads people to the thermal water resources is consciousness which is caused by this concern. It is seen that people have traveled with this mind to places where the thermal water resources, since the ancient times. Today, while people aim to provide a steady improvement in their health, they want to meet the vacation needs at the same time. Thus, a type of tourism which is called “Thermal Tourism” has emerged as a combination of health and tourism. Establishments that serve this kind of tourism are named thermal tourism establishments. Several thermal waters, thermal centers and thermal tourism establishments founded on these centers, constitute the infrastructure of thermal tourism. The main services provided in these establishments are health and treatment services. In this study, it is aimed to inform about the health and treatment services provided in thermal therapy center which is situated in the thermal tourism establishments.
