In this study, zinc pyrithione (ZnPT), which is a zinc metal complex pollutant mixed in
domestic, industrial and general purpose use to aquatic ecosystem, has an LC
50 value of 1/24 (2,5μL/L) and 1/12 (5μL/L) of Oreochromis niloticus Possible genotoxic effects in the Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings were determined using micronucleus test in fish erythrocytes. As a result of the laboratory studies performed, it was determined that the individuals exposed to ZnPT for 24 and 96 hours showed an increase in micronucleus and morphological irregularities according to the control group. |
