Gedâyî Dîvânı'nda şahsiyetler

Abstract

Dinî, tarihî, mitolojik ve folklorik temellere dayanan klasik Türk edebiyatı, beslendiği kaynaklar ve kendine özgü biçim ve muhtevasıyla binlerce yıllık edebî geleneğin mahsulünü oluşturur. Klasik Türk edebiyatının layıkıyla anlaşılabilmesi ve taşıdığı anlam derinliğine vâkıf olunabilmesi, bu edebiyatın yararlandığı kaynakların bilinmesiyle mümkündür. Klasik Türk edebiyatının yararlandığı kaynaklardan biri de dinî, tarihî, efsanevi ve mitolojik şahsiyetlerdir. Bu noktadan hareketle çalışmamızda XV. yüzyıl Orta Asya Türkçesinin önde gelen temsilcilerinden Gedâyî’nin Dîvân’ında geçen şahsiyetler incelenmiş; telmih ve teşbih unsuru olarak kullanılan bu şahsiyetlerle ilgili olaylar tespit edilerek şiirin anlam derinliğinin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır.

Based on religious, historical, mythological, and folkloric foundations, Turkish literature is the product of a literary generation of thousands of years with its sources, unique form, and content. Understanding the classical Turkish literature deservedly and appreciating its depth of meaning are possible through the knowledge on its sources. One of these sources which Turkish literature relies on is the religious, historical, mythological, and folkloric personages. In this respect, our study analyses the personages in the Divan of Gedayi, who is a foremost representative of 15th century Central Asia Turkish language, and the depth of meaning in the poem is uncovered through determining the events related to these personages which are used as elements of reference and similitude.
