Gastronomy is gaining importance in the world and in our country, and Culinary Arts Education has become widespread. Turkey in 2003, starting with 1 faculty Gastronomy and Culinary Arts education institutions number increased year by year, there are 56 programs in 2017 was made in this study. As of 2019, the figure has exceed ed 65. The aim of this study is to measure the career expectations of undergraduate students studying gastronomy and culinary arts. The main mass of the research consists of undergraduate students studying in the field of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at state universities in the Central Anatolia Region. The data collected through the survey were analyzed through statistical package programs. According to the results of the research, although the students think that they need to be trained to work in the field of gastronomy and culinary arts, they do not think that the education given in the school will meet the expectations of the sector. In addition, according to the results of simple regression analysis, it was found that as the students' thoughts about the department and the education they received increased positively, their career expectations also increased. |
