Nevşehir’de oryantiring sporu ve oryantiringin doğaya etkisi

Abstract

Oryantiring sporu bilinmeyen bir bölgedeki işaret veya kontrol noktalarını harita ve pusula yardımıyla bulma faaliyetidir. Oryantiring bireyleri hem fiziksel hem de zihinsel anlamda geliştirmektedir. Oryantiring sporunda genellikle ormanlık arazilerin tercih edilmesi sebebiyle Nevşehir ilk etapta pek uygun görülmemiştir. Oryantiringin yaygınlaşması ve çeşitli sahalarda uygulanmasıyla birlikte ilin uygun olduğu görülmüştür. Nevşehir’de peri bacalarının yaygın olduğu alanlarda oryantiring yapılmaya başlanmış ve taş orman deyimi ortaya çıkmıştır. Oryantiring sporu Nevşehir’de yapılan diğer birçok doğa sporu gibi bazı negatif sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. Örneğin oryantiring müsabakaları sırasında bazı bitki türleri koparılabilir. Yine oryantiring alanı içerisinde yer alan canlılar korkutulabilir. Müsabaka sahalarında toprak sıkışması olabilir. Toprağa infiltre olamayan sular yüzeysel akışa geçerek erozyona sebebiyet verebilir. Yarışma yapılan doğaya zarar verecek maddeler atılabilir. Oryantiring Nevşehir ili için önemli bir değerdir. Oryantiring etkinliklerinin turizme katkısı göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Oryantiringin Nevşehir doğası üzerindeki olası negatif etkileri dikkate alınmalı ve uygun sahalar seçilmelidir.

Orienteering sport is an activity of finding the signs or control points in an unknown area with the aid of a map and a compass. Orientaling individuals develop both physical and mental sense. Because of the preference of forest land in the orienteering sport, Nevşehir was not seen as suitable in the first place. Along with the widespread use of orienteering and its application in various fields, it has been seen that the province is appropriate. In Nevşehir, orienteering was started in areas where fairy chimneys are widespread and stone forests emerged. Oriental sport has some negative consequences like many other nature sports done in Nevşehir. For example, during orienteering competitions some plant species can be torn off. Again, living things within the orienteering area can be frightened. There may be a soil jam in the competition fields. Waters that cannot infiltrate to the ground can flow to the surface stream and cause erosion. Materials that may damage the nature of the competition may be thrown. Orienteering is an important value for Nevsehir province. The tourism contribution of orienteering activities should be considered. The possible negative effects of orienteering on the nature of Nevşehir should be taken into consideration and appropriate fields should be selected.
